Age doesn't allow them to maintain that. It's much more difficult to train the way necessary for a fight at that age. That is how come you don't see it. Speed, mobility, stability, and chin all wear down. State Athletic commissions have a lot to do with it as well. They are not likely to license/sanction a fight with a man that age because it is an extreme liability. This is why we do not see it and it's for good reason. Unfortunately, this fight is not going to be the least bit entertaining.

George Foreman as he got older, his punch got a lot stronger his speed went way downhill which she never had a whole Lotta speed, but his power never faded and I feel that Mike Tyson’s power probably hasn’t faded a whole whole lot

Tyson has a puncher’s (good) chance early on. Power is often the last thing to go, but lack of endurance will be what shows itself if this thing drags on. Heck, that was one of Tyson’s main issues back in his prime, so it certainly will be now. I’m pulling for Mike. I still remember watching him lose to Douglas in 1990 in Japan. I was nine years old.

Don’t know enough about what those gloves will do to their power. If it totally mitigates the power then the fight will definitely be a tie based on the rules.
