Real Shit Alert Honestly, KZbin is the only source of income for most KZbinrs nowadays and my theory is that, since the adpocalypse, KZbinrs have been prioritising views over the creative integrity that their content USED to be. All in all, I think they're just trying to survive as best as they can, since it does them get views; the more views, the more money. I agree with what KSI said absolutely, but monetary gain became a very integral part of most of their lives; a more professional level of quality in videos and sponsorships show that. The platform has changed and favours those who place quantity over quality.
