This is simply a retirement payout for Tyson. Jake isn’t interested in being taken seriously as a ranked boxer otherwise he would be looking at that route. It simply doesn’t pay the bills for Jake however prize fights do and he feels that this is comparable to ranked title fights based on revenue, hype and ppv numbers. Fair play it works for him and gives others an opportunity for a final pay day. Jake will avoid any questions that relate to the actual sport unless it’s to do with his fights as that’s not promoting what he’s doing.
