@@coachKeithKeppner I definitely agree with you on that - I just don't see it equaling the decades of boxing experience against better opponents that Mike has under his belt, however long ago it was. That muscle memory never leaves - and his training appears to me to have gotten his body into enough shape that it will respond in this fight similar to when he was champ - at least enough that he'll be too much for Jake to overcome. Win or lose - I think this is great for Jake. If he's sincere about his love of boxing - and I believe he is - this fight is what he needs to get to the next level. Smart move for Jake with little downside in my opinion.

@@coachKeithKeppner Paul hasn't been "consistently" fighting. He's never fought at this weight. He's never fought a heavy weight. He's never fought an experience boxer, nevertheless a living legend. His only fair fight he lost. He's chosen non-Boxing fighters who are much smaller than him. Beating people only tangentially related to boxing doesn't make you a good boxer. It's like getting professional roller bladers and inviting them to try speed ice skating, and then pretending like winning is some huge deal. He talks about being the future of boxing, but specifically and purposefully doesn't box boxers because he knows he'll lose If Tommy Fury can back Paul up, Tyson will be able to easily control the ring and catch Paul with body shots like Paul has never felt before. He'll panic and try his only good punch, his blind right overhand and Tyson is going to ruin him.
@pauldalessandro439013 күн бұрын
We’ve never seen Jake Paul fight someone with this much power, this much calculated aggression, and this much ring experience before. We HAVE seen him run when rattled(Which Tyson is an expert at taking advantage of), controlled like a novice in terms of ring space by Anderson Silva, and we’ve seen him throw an awful lot of sloppy punches. I think we see a knockout by Tyson in the first 3 rounds. At first I was worried that Tyson may not be able to summon up bad intentions because we didn’t see that in the Roy Jones bout; But this is a different fight, and he seemed focused at the press conference. Can’t see him being that dialed in without preparing to take someone’s head off.

The one thing that most people do not talk about is all the state of the art supplements Mike is on. I am not talking about testosterone or steroids, I am talking about peptides, growth hormones, and other anti aging medication that only the richest of people have access to. Yes I am sure Jake is on those too, but the difference is that those supplements will have a more drastic effect on a older guy than a younger guy! I just do not know how effective these supplements are. If these supplements take Mike's effective age to the MID 40s, like 45 to 50! Jake will be in big trouble, remember George Foreman was 45 years old when he knocked out Michael Moore. I will bet on MIKE in the 2nd round!!!

I predict Tyson wins. You are greatly underestimating the fighters mindset from that era. and Tyson was the best from that era. And Tyson has not lost that much. His speed and power are still more than adequate to take down an amateur like Jake Paul. also, to distill Mike Tyson down to just power, is ridiculous. His speed and agility were also unmatched in his division. His ring IQ is off the charts. I think Tyson has got this. And 16oz. gloves do not make you hit less hard. In fact, it can add more weight to the punch. Plenty of people have been knocked out while wearing 16 ounce gloves by people that hit less hard than Mike Tyson.

12:30 Yes - agreed - that's what Mike needs to do. If Jake sets up as a southpaw like he did in the workout yesterday, all Mike has to do is note when Jake picks his left foot up to throw his jab - then, duck the jab while closing the gap in a micro-second (Mike's still quick closing the gap) and come in with a left hook counter punch at Jake's exposed ribs, which will set up a vicious combination to Jake's head. In this special case, nothing of that is the #1 argument against one or the other fighter. #1 argument is that we´re basically in Rocky 6: Jake Paul has never ever felt punches (hurting bombs) like those he´s gonna be confronted with in the very first minute of that fight. As long as the fight is not scripted by Netflix, THAT will show the truth. Paul might go down within the first 30 seconds Round 1.

The Roy Jones Jr. fight 4 years ago was just an exhibition and, clearly, there were very, very minimal shots to the head. Admittedly, Tyson looks better today than 4 years ago. But, how is his body at taking powerful hits? In turn, i've reviewed Jake Paul's fights and i'm not convinced that he can take strong hits to his body or head, over and over during a match. He's only faced amateur to inexperienced "boxers". This could end up a draw.

This guy has never been in a real fight, hence why he's calling out Mike at 58 yo's and probably attempting to get him to follow a script, power is the last to go, Jake Fraud couldn't box himself to safety from an 80 year old nanny, Tyson will be on the front foot and if Jake's plan is to stay in the pocket vs Tyson he will learn why many men have failed, and it's not this HGH-roid fueled slow as molasses overblown super middleweight, if his plan is to pull a Holyfield and fight Mike in the pocket he will lose, if he ATTEMPTS to showcase that pathetic thing he calls boxing then Mike will be smiling before he finally gets to him I don't see a single scenario in my head where Jake Fraud wins, maybe it's my love for boxing clouding my mind, but I just can't picture Jake Fraud surviving off the backfoot against a 58 YO Mike.
