I have been watching Mike training prior to the fight and he was a beast. His footwork was great. Something was really off during the fight. I have been a serious fan of boxing since the 1950s. I certainly studied Mike Tyson and I say with confidence that the fight was rigged in someway. Beyond that I have a speculation that part of the deal was Mike Tyson will get a certain percentage of all future fights that Jake Paul would engage in in order to keep him viable. Any other scenario would not work from a financial point of view. frankly, Mike Tyson‘s age would not prevent him from knocking Jake Paul out in the first 30 seconds if not less.

Mike got paid to take a dive, it's that simple. 20 million dollars to chalk up a loss on his career that he doesn't care about anymore. If you watched the Netflix documentary before the fight you can see Mike is a totally different person nowadays. He spent most of his time talking about his family and his pigeons. Dude doesn't care about boxing anymore. He did come out of the gates like a Raging Bull, you could see it when he went into headhunter mode, then he remembered that this is all an act, and he's been paid to make Jake Paul look good, so he just retreated and refused to engage. I watched him actively avoid punching Paul numerous times, not to mention the ones he threw and deliberately missed. It was clearly staged, there's no doubt about it. At one point Jake Paul's jaw was miles open at chest height, Mike had the exact positioning to throw a body hook and connect with his chin. Paul woulda been out stone cold from just that punch, and Mike refused to throw it. What a fkn tragedy...
