In fairness Jake comes from a time when Improv was a huge part of being a wrestler when giving promo's/interviews and not knowing exactly what would be asked or said.

@ownknow8161 It's fine that you belive in what you believe in but I didn't see God let Jake into his house rent free for years while also allowing him to slip up and go into relapses for his addiction multiple times. While then getting him even healthier then he had been in years and off of drugs successfully like DDP did. No offense to God but it seems like he took a walk when it came to that. Ddp is the closest thing living to a Saint that we have today bar none. He did the work and as usual God takes the credit.

The one time I got to meet Jake, I told him how out of anyone from when I watched as a kid, he scared the absolute shit out of me, and how I appreciated that now as an adult. He smiled, leaned in and put his arm around my shoulder, and just said "that was the whole fuckin point, brother"

In RVD's podcast he responded to a fan who was "concerned" about Rob's lungs due to his voice. RVD, a cannabis connoisseur as you all know, defended his lungs saying they've been checked out and hes good. The deed sound is due to "wrestlers voice." The way Jake describes being hit in the throat I think I finally get it

Knowing all of Jake's trouble around the turn of the century it is great to see him looking well and having fun doing what he is doing. This episode was great. Showed off the great wit with his relaxed demeanor. You can tell that RJ didn't have to do much work for this one.

Growing up in the 80's Jake was my absolute favorite. I remember my grandfather taking me to my first wrestling event when he was going against Earthquake. I am so pleased to see him surviving his addictions and making it out the other side and thank you DDP for helping along the way.
