@@hitek9too255 Bullsh-t. The numbers are public. May 1994 to April 1995 financial year, the WWF made a loss of $4.4M, and May 1996 and April 1997 the WWF made a loss of $6.5M. 1. The financial years they lost money was predominantly 1994 and 1996, not 1997. In the May 1997 to April 1998 financial year they made $8.5M profit (and then $56M and then $69M, et al). 2. Losing $6.5M as part of $82M revenue is literally nothing. It's nowhere near being driven out of business. They had assets worth way more than $7M and any bank would give them more than that with their eyes closed. Stop repeating cringe online talking points.

Vince McMahon gave this man more chances than he probably should have. Glad to see how grateful he is. He’s bitter because he doesn’t have a job with WWE. With the amount of times he has fucked them over with his reckless behavior I’m surprised he doesn’t see their point of view.

Jake is Spot On about taking Family Time off at this time, Rick “SteamBoat” Blood told Vince Jr. to pound salt over this issue and Vince then Blackballed Rick from returning to WWE for quite some time until Jericho insisted he could still work tremendously even into his late 40’s …

I repeat, his DCD with WWE was one of the best docs I've ever seen. Yes, he got short during this interview, but you're supposed to let guys talk when you ask them questions. I'm the same way, if someone keeps cutting me off, I either stop talking or get very short with them. I've seen many Jake interviews, and he's very open, and he will give you great soundbites if you shut up and let him talk. His Randy impression especially is hilarious.

DJVlad @ The next three wrestlers you need to interview are Konnan and Vampiro, who each have intriguing stories on being involved with various gangs,drugs,between-the-scenes wrestling on-goings,health issues(with Konnan having kidney ailments),and (in Vampiro's case)being kidnapped by a satanic cult, and Jesse Ventura on his wrestling, acting, and political careers,Truthers, and getting Donald Trump into politics in 2000(as a left leaning Independent[!!!!]).

Beeing on steroids is intense. I was a complete lunatic messing with the juice and i was only doing a small amount. It's no joke. I can see steroids causing Benoit going on a rampage, because he was a small guy naturally, and had to use a lot of juice to keep up with the bigger guys. It affects your mental health probably worse than doing cocaine everyday

Don't try to normalize Benoits psycho sh. If you can see how someone could go home, torture their wife to death, as in after her back snapped in half so all she could do was scream while you continue to wrap her up for hours and beat her with electrical cords and the cords you connect your cable with for hours with your 7 year old child in the house until you finally decide to choke her to death then roll her up in a rug, meanwhile keeping in touch with work, then a day later decide to shoot your 7 year old up with xanax then strangle him, then call your buddies at work and tell them your dead wife and now dead child have food poisoning and you had to take them to the hospital-- meanwhile STILL checking in with work and even googling flights to make sure you're at the next show- meanwhile your wife is starting to blow up and stink-- but you're okay with that, and still pack a bag then go grab knives and bibles so you can stage the bodies until 'oh sh-- I told somebody they were sick' so instead of facing this you go back and google the least painful way to die, and even do yourself the kindness of wrapping 2, twice as many as were recommended on line-- just to make sure you don't get pinched, then make arrangements for someone to get your f'n dogs-- which got a better treatment than his son. Of course, you gotta make sure the dogs are okay. If this is relatable to you I'm any kind of way. Go check yourself in to somewhere that will put you in a straight jacket and give you a lobotomy because you have NO business being around other human beings.

Jake Roberts bad mouthing wrestlers who never wrestled him or became more successful is sad. Jake never had a big push after his religious gimmick that made Austin 3:16 he was using drugs and wasn’t reliable. He’s lucky, but I never thought he was a main event or when he was in the WWF could have carried any title. His matches with Randy Savage and Rickey Steamboat are classics but that’s it.

How Vince don't look out for them 80s wrestlers is typical billionaire bullshit. The 80s is what made the wwe not no damn Rock or Stone Cold. Go back and take care of some of the dudes. At least the 1s that's still living. Vince ran them 80s wrestlers in the ground, no cap.

For people to blame Vince for wrestlers deaths and what not is ludicrous. Vince built an industry that heavily relied on overly muscular and built bodies. Steroids were a way to keep up. Those wrestlers took the risk of doing steroids to make more money. One may argue If they didn’t use steroids, they wouldn’t be able to compete with the rest which would result in them being released, which is true, but this is not Vince’s fault. This is the business they were in at the time. They knew they would have to use steroids from the beginning in order to keep up. Nobody forced them into wrestling.

They were "encouraged" to do this and there were ringside doctors on payroll. They clearly would've had no way of knowing this going in because no one wanted wrestlers to look like Chippendales dancers until Vince came along. No one wouldve predicted him looting all the other territories of their best talent, then purchasing them to then squash them so there were no other territories-- not to take out competition, take away the possibility of being employed anywhere else, so you then have to do whatever crazy sh Vince wants you to-- which will include a humiliation phase, and a stint where you are removed from payroll in assurance you will act accordingly. Please don't spend your entire life being stupid.

This is one of those interviews that clearly shows Vlads lack of skill as an interviewer. And I don’t mean this as a slight but vlad asks so many Yes or No questions that when you get a guy like Jake Robert’s whose very direct with his answers it doesn’t lend itself to a lot of insight. Journalism 101 states you should always ask open ended questions that help the interviewee speak more, in stead of asking are him did wrestlers struggling with the same family problems? The only answer You are gonna get is yes or no. Rephrase it like how did wrestling affect your family life and boom you have a question he can’t just say yes or no too. Jake had a great story it’s too bad, he doesn’t seem to naturally open up, vlad is gonna have a challenge pulling stories if he don’t switch up the way he asks his questions
