He'll point out inconsistencies without arguing, trusting the audience to see the truth and at the same time not offending the guests to the point that they don't want to return. I think Miller's tantrum also highlighted how calm and level Tapper is as well (and clearly an experienced father - that was classic dad "calm down").

Telma Elma You didn't like the truth? Jake didn't sell himself out in any way. When the US made the announcement, he questioned it, and pressed Haley on the claim it moved the peace process forward. When the UN voted on it, he questioned the motivation and questioned the US threats around how countries vote. Questioned both sides, questioning all aspects - that's good journalism, not a sell out.

Jordan Those aren’t great definitions in terms of their typical usage. If you call someone obsequious, you typically mean that they’re a kiss-ass or a brown-noser. They’re being nice, but only to get something or get praised. Factotum usually would be used to call someone a servant/servile worker.

Jake Tapper NEVER FUMBLES. He always remains steadfast, clear, honest and polite. But make no mistake, he can mince you like chop meat, never losing his pace, stamina or perfectly chosen words if you rudely challenge him, outright lie to him, or evade his original question.You don't want to mess with such a smart mind, who is an eloquent speaker, an ace journalist and a man that just wants an honest interview and intelligent exchange of truth, and he's also equipped with a pretty sharp sense of humor. I am truly glad that I found his programs, even if it was because I became a news junkie as a result of all this '"trump horror". I enjoy his interviews and commentaries immensely. I really recommend that you check his CNN programs out. He is a great journalist.

I feel like everyone is being so unfair to Stephen miller. first of all he was asleep in his casket when they had to wake him up for that trump ass kissing interview. second they did not have time to stop to the blood bank so he could have a drink and third it took more time than most in the CNN make up chair to powder some life into his pale dead skin. so understandably he was edgy, tired and irritated.

Tapper is the best in the business. He's objective, calls out both sides when warranted, and isn't afraid to ask tough question, unlike the biased frauds at MSNBC and Fox News. If you want real news, tune into CNN and Jake's show. If you want to watch blatant propaganda and people kiss the ass of the Democratic and Republican parties, tune into MSNBC/late night hosts/TYT, and Fox News/Limbaugh/Alex Jones, respectively. Dana Bash is VERY good from CNN, too.
