Something about Joshua and Margret is that they treat Finn as if he was just another child of theirs. I genuinely like how it’s not treated like a big deal and that’s something that I can appreciate a lot. Well, she is part alien, part bear, and part rainicorn in addition to dog, so her life span has a lot of variables. Jake and Jermaine already made it to 17 so they have both lived much longer than many dogs do and Jermaine is 100% dog.

In the ep “Daddy Daughter Card Wars” Jake says he isn’t sure how old he is in dog years anymore, but he doesn’t want to live over 40 (but he’s afraid it might be too late for that). Considering the show starts w/ Finn being 12 and Jake being 28, that means Jake ages approximately 2 & 1/3 times as fast as Finn. With Finn being 17 by the series finale, that’d make Jake around 39-40

i wish we got more of the pup kingdom. one of the most interesting parts of the show to me is the 1000 years later future. we only really see it i think three times, and the fact that pups became the dominant (or, i guess a super prominent) race is wild. not to mention they get special powers, and theres a whole future plotline that could exist with gibbon extinguishing powers and beth being wanted. if they made more distant lands episodes, id be so down for one primarily about pups. whether its jakes kids, or his descendants way in the future, or both, itd be cool to see more ultra powerful pup action

As cool as those pups were for jake. I feel a little bit more disturbed by the fact that everybody acknowledged that they are aging faster but themselves. I may understand maybe for the son to think his dad is being childish and hang out with Finn in that episode. I believe it makes sense for Jake to go back with finn and still act care free because he knows that his sons and daughters are grown up living their own life and Finn is still a kid so common sense why finn needed him more than his own kids need in theirs. All of his kids were rapidly aging faster and different set of mindset I guess is fine but I sometimes wish they would cut some slack for their dad. TV had that sour mention that Jake only met him twice was heartbreaking to hear not because Jake was a not bad dad but from jake's point that was a sweet moment that that could have happened in one week but 2 random days that happened in years of his life. I don't know it's just I think if anyone else was in his position would probably a little bit mad but for Jake he managed to go with it and embrace it. Which is another thing I think the his kids fell to understand about their dad. Jake love them when they were born but but a little bit cheated out of it because if they had age a little slower or grew the same way they probably would have seen him the same way Finn did.

im surprised there hasnt been an episode on finn hanging out with one of jakes kids or grandkids talking specifically about how he donked up as a dad and the comparisons between jake and martin. they touched on it in the KKW episodes but not much happened in that department. may it be a fault on rainicornpups lifespan, but he still was old enough to be a father to them the same way jake was a brother to finn. not all the lessons were in the best light, but he was still a figure of sorts, and the comparisons between jake and martin would be a nice touch in the HBO series if we ever get that interaction.

Guys I think the girl finn is with might bronwins daughter or granddaughter 1 beacuse her skin tone is much darker than bronwins 2 if you compare the age of finn and the age of this girl and then think of how fast the jakes pups grew up and bronwins became a teen then it would make more sense if this was bronwins granddaughter or daughter than it would make sense if it was actually her
