@@christopher399 the biggest problem with "multiple life sentences" is that the prisons are run by private, for profit, businesses, and if we dug around, we'd find out that our politicians own stock in these companies. There is no incentive to reform inmates when you profit off of how many you keep in custody. It becomes the tax-payer's burden to house and feed criminals that won't do anything to contribute to their own life, and instead, will burden our society and tax payers with bogus law suits, actin up, etc, while in prison. They should be put to hard work to actually cover the costs of housing an inmate. If "hardened criminals" don't want to reform, and they have "life in prison", then their lives should be cut short. If you don't want to contribute to society in a positive, meaningful manner, contribute to covering the cost of your own life, you should be put down like your victims. Don't give criminals more rights than their victims or those that aren't incarcerated.

@@sheldonshogrin6736 More rights? They are in prison. They don't have the arguably most important right of them all: freedom. I disagree with a lot of what you said. I do believe prisons should have the main goal of rehabilitating the inmates, but I don't think the prisoners should be worked to death or killed. There are the moral reasons for that, but also the fact that sometimes we need time to come around. For example, I personally sought help back in 2016, but it took me a few years to come around and be willing to give therapy everything it takes. It might take a decade or two, but at some point, I think it's reasonably to assume that prisoners will want to turn their lives around. Certainly if they are to be released some day, but even if they are serving life, they probably want to end on a high note. They can be troublesome until they die, or they can turn their lives around and do something positive in prison. I know some lifers who turned their lives around have started talking to inmates that struggle. They may not be able to get out and change the world, but they can at least help out those that are in prison - some of whom will one day have their freedom back, and might take some of the lessons/advice from the lifers with them.

It’s a coping mechanism to disconnect from an event and then talk about it with no emotions ie remorse.

after listening to today's accounting it kinda sounds like Angela is adding to the story! she's claiming Sophia had been violated by Chris Jr yet if that were true Jake would have said that bit he didn't they were afraid something was going to happen since Hannah was dating other men...

I believe that their story about worrying so much about the little girl is a massive lie because the story I heard is that they had a weed growing operation and were part of a cartel and that this was a hit ... ... and I believe it 100% . Hopefully the police and the FEDS will do some more digging so that the truth will come out because okay they were found guilty but it's not a 100% revealed why the real reason why this horror happened and the truth needs to be told

All trials are totally useless. We know who is killer, we know they get life penalty ( not dead penalty) This is for vomitting, how easy its to avoid dead penalty.

Were any of Billy Wagner's footprints at murder scenes? What size is his foot? Also, the camera that caught the two vehicles going down the road and then back the other direction. No camera caught any of them going into a residence? Even cameras on surrounding residents' properties? Why didn't Angela purchase shoes for Billy and none of his prints were found at the scene?

There is no way he should be able to opt out of being broadcast during his testimony. The judge acts like he's 100 years old. Nobody's mike works consistently, nor can anyone speak up and into the microphone. None of the attorneys seem to be very quick when objecting to statements. The blonde woman prosecutor can't complete a sentence without Umm and Uh throughout. Her opening statement was painful. I'm not an attorney so maybe my ignorance is coming through, but as a layperson, this whole trial seems to be a farce. It certainly doesn't seem to be the biggest murder case in Ohio history.

So George IV "Last minute," joined Billie, The Dad & Lil Bro Jake, bc G was concerned Dad might Kill Jake. And that night The Mother of the Year, Angela, is Who bugged Billie to resolve the situation. Per J the Dad is who 1st suggested the murders, but afterwards J tells Papa Bear, No regrets Bc he's afraid his father may kill himself. Plus, that night Mama Bear, takes a sleep sedative, tells Vine & Sophia, bedtime come to bed with her. How so strangely nonchalant, calus, to lay down her head on a pillow, hug Sophia (No shame) knowing before sunrise her Mom and her family will be Dead. Angela has an identical emotional landscape as Mom, cold, selfish narcissist. Consider This, Mother of the Year, Angela throws her 1st born son under the bus... A mother, a real Mother 1st would protect her children and tell George to confess after Jake did so George could maybe get her deal. So G could maybe get parole. She should of never had children. My Mother age 91 when her natural days were soon to end, she saw me crying as I was helping her to the Breakfast table. Why, she asked, concerned, I said Dad's already in Heaven, you are approaching your turn, once you go, there won't be anyone left on Earth who Loves me unconditionally... Now Honey you'll have your 10 siblings. Yes, I replied, But Mom I know if I was about to accidentally fall in front of a Train, You would throw yourself under the train to save Me," My Mother without hesitant exclaims, Yes, in a New York minute"... she passed away 6 months later, little bit before she'd have turned 92. This family is like a rotten onion. The more you peel under the layers, incredibly, underneath is more evil. Yes, too many contradictions as Wagners have no Souls. Sorry 4legnthy comment. Monsters!

Part of the plea deal Jake & Angela both sought was to have the death penalty removed for ALL 4 of THEM. It was a point of contention between the judge & the attorneys. I'm not sure what the actual outcome was, but it was definitely controversial. Also controversial was the plea deal being conditional upon Jake and Angela testifying not only against the others, but TESTIFYING TO THE STATE'S SATISFACTION.

I thought that in the plea deal Jake made with the state, that the death penalty had been completely taken off the table for all four Wagners...meaning no death penalty possibility for Jake, George, Billy or Angela - even if they were found guilty. So in this case - the most George could get if found guilty would be life without parole. Did I misunderstand that?

If you kill eight people and then have to tell people in court how do people think it would be possible to do that, if not coldly. Otherwise you ain’t going to be able to tell it. Also, if you can do that deed, why should we expect emotion when talking about it. This guy shot the mother of his daughter, while she slept. If he is telling the truth, shot people in the face at point blank range.
@virtualxella2 жыл бұрын
George Wagner should not be facing the death penalty. It's true Jake Wagner got the best plea deal in history. I really hope the jury remember that comment even if the objection was sustained. This is so unfair and is a mockery of the capital punishment system which I do generally support but not in this case if it can't be applied fairly.
