Honestly because he's skating flat or park. Jake is obviously amazing but the way this was set up it's kind of just a skatepark edit. Not trying to hate, I like this video a lot but I think that's why it didn't get more attention. I really think if they hadn't built a park in there and just let him skate natural obstacles skaters would have responded to it more.

Was looking for this comment. I can watch a dude skate quarters anywhere, this was pointless. I've seen other footage of people skating what redbull set up and they had all sorts of counters, ledges, chairs, escalator handrails to skate too. It was actually pretty cool. Then I watch redbull's own footage and it's this generic quarterpipe stuff. Very weird decision. Yo redbull you hiring? Need someone to help you with what actual skaters want to see?

click bait title and thumbnail - the beauty of skateboarding is getting creative with the existing elements in your environment...when you slap a park in some space, you are skating the park not the spot... i think i counted one trick where he actually interacted with the 'airport' - the stanchion he bumps over in the flatground line.
