Fantastic! I found you just before you joined Kentucky Thunder. I told a friend you was the best guy. I'm still not wrong. Makes me want to practice all 10 notes I know.

My eyes deceive me--is there something on the g string over the sound hole? Beautiful Collings

Its a mic for his pickup. Those are pricy!
@blue49483 жыл бұрын
@@ryansullivan2933 It has the collings sticker in the soundhole. You can make out the location of the manufacture, Austin, Texas

Hey, I just learned about you yesterday and now I’m watching all your videos. I love your playing and I love the way you don’t look at the fretboard all the time when you’re playing. To me, that underscores you’re really searching for the notes and you’re not just playing patterns you’ve already learned. Question for you; what is that circle that’s on one of the middle strings. Is that some type of pick up it’s right in the middle of a hole?

That was awesome. Please keep posting these. Does your right hand ever rest on the guitar at all?
@TimothyLindblom3 жыл бұрын
He explains this better in a lesson, but he doesn't plant his wrist on the bridge but his wrist does lightly brush across the bridge pins. Like I said you should get a few lessons and have him help you with it!
@JPM-NM3 жыл бұрын
@@TimothyLindblom I 2nd that. He's a great teacher. He really helped me a lot with my right hand issues.Considering his resume and prominence his rates are incredibly reasonable.

I'm unfamiliar with this version. I like it, but if someone called this tune would you play it this way? Or is this more a solo performance approach? Just curious
@Jwork116 ай бұрын
Most parts of this would be very usable in a jam, absolutely. The intro A part maybe is best for a solo arrangement however but still possible. This was improvised, just having a bit of fun with it and aware the melody is sparse at times.

@@Jwork11 Thanks for the info. I have a version of this that I learned from Mr. Andy Wood. Hope to see you at Woodshed!

Is this a Mic inside the guitar? What amplification system is it? Thanks!
