Jesus busy for you lot we had two incoming no outgoings. Would’ve liked a defensive midfielder but we clearly tried cause we had a deal done for a player who’s a defensive midfielder then ended up snaking us and going to Colchester what a word I’m not gonna say. Overall think we’ve improved massively on last year quite happy. Good luck for tomorrow 👍

2:28 - oh I forgot he joined us for an undisclosed compensation. Hmm they’re not usually cheap as they sound. Elliot Watt for instance had Salford paid compo which I think we agreed a compo fee on, could have netted us anywhere between £100k-£275k. So if he’s gone for £100k or just over that, we might be breaking even or making a very small profit on him. Stevenage haven’t paid over £100k for any player. But good we’ve got a decent sell on %, at least I hope it’s decent.

He never proved himself at Bradford City and clearly had bad attitude. Good riddance.

Just hope we had a decent fee for him...Supposed 6 figure sum plus add ons and a "sizeable sell on" clause according to the T&A... The last signing at 11pm was RWB Jay Benn on a season long loan from Lincoln City... At least now Halliday will have some competition for his position now with Callum Johnson still not match fit after he missed all pre season then had a small setback about 10 days ago... Disappointed not to get a replacement in for Young in this window but at least GA can start a search now knowing money is in the transfer coffers to purchase a permanent signing in January if needed... @@elliswood9120 it will just be interesting to find out what triggers these add ons to be paid...You'd think goals and appearances but you never know...I'm hoping the undisclosed transfer fee which was 6 figures is at least near if not 200k as he was under contract this season and the club had the option of another year in their favour so were under no pressure to sell for a stupidly low amount...Always annoys me when clubs do the "Undisclosed 6 figure sum" trick as we as fans never really get to know what we've got 4 him...🐔🐓
