I came here to say this, 4 damage per sac’d treasure can get crazy quick. Nadier’s nightblade and reckless fireweaver also seem like a cool way to weaponize the treasures.

Marionet master is a huge wincon in the deck, imagine the ammount of treasure your making in this deck, each one of them dealing 4 to each opponent

love video as usual. 2 things I think you missed. Xorn is a must include, and Marionette Master I think is a decent wincon for budget decks (What you are missing is that if you put the +1/+1 counters on MM, it deals 4 damage each time you sac a treasure token).

One card that no one seems to be mentioning that can be really good in the deck is hedonists trove, making use of your opponents graveyard sounds like a fun idea. On a different note I'm pretty sure madness cards do count as being cast from exile.

Love the video! But I have to disagree on Marionette Master. You use the +1/+1 counters, not the tokens, and then ping your opponents when you sac treasures.

I was super wrong on Marionette Master. For some reason my brain didn't connect treasure tokens to its ability. Big oof on my side lol. You're totally right

Finally have a use for slow Profane Tutor and Sol Talisman, once suspend in exile ends the card is "played" and Prosper triggers. Then can tutor for Revel in Riches. Also been enjoying Treasure Vault as a utility land for more treasures in this deck.

Another great upgrade video. Was waiting for this one as it's the one I picked up, I find it the most interesting. Only cut I disagree with is Marionette Master...you def don't fabricate the servos...you add to its power so EVERY treasure you sac dings the table for 4. That could get out of hand fast. Otherwise, dope stuff 👌

add Storm-Kiln Artist & Xorn and you swim in teasures like Dagobert Duck .... Did also add "Academy Manufactor" but didn't draw it yet..... Marionette Master is perfect when you are thinking about what to do with 20-30 treasures

I went with embereth shield breaker instead of bone crusher giant because I preferred destroying an artifact for one instead of the shock. As others have said Marionette Master can help finish the game by adding the +1/+1 counters from fabricate. To add to that I am also play testing Kalain, Reclusive Painter to help my creature be a little bigger. Using it with Marionette Master gave me a 9/10 MM so I was doing 9 damage each time I used a treasure.

Hey dude I'm new to magic so the mechanics and stuff are still really tricky for me. I got this deck and it felt really advanced and I couldn't seem to get it to work. I looked on websites for upgrades and again the mechanics seemed really complex so I got the recommended upgrades but didn't really know how to use them. This is the first guide that I've seen about this deck where they break down the meaning of things like foretell and holy shit now I understand what I need to do and to look for so this deck can work!

Marionette Master is the win con in the deck. Every treasure you sacrifice deals 4 damage to an opponent. It shouldn’t get the chop

So my playgroup loves Deflecting Palm effects (Cause who doesn't? Shits funny as hell) and the "Damage Can't Be Prevented" counters that pretty hard. Just a tip if your playgroup loves that card as much as mine

After playtesting this deck even one time you will realize the true power of [[Marionette Master]]. Definitely do not cut this card. In fact, you should be adding the entire package of these treasure payoff cards, as follows: - [[Disciple of the Vault]] - [[Reckless Fireweaver]] - [[Nadier's Nightblade]] - [[Mayhem Devil]] Keep [[Prosper]] on the battlefield and watch your rate of treasure generation and sacrifice explode. Since the deck basically has no synergy other than the commander, you should also include the entire protection package, as follows: - [[Swiftfoot Boots]] - [[Lightning Greaves]] - [[Darksteel Plate]] - [[Ring of Xathrid]]

Masterwork of Ingenuity, more back up and sometimes you can just copy your opponents version. Magnetic Theft can be good also as a one time form of instant equip/steal :P

Xorn and academy manufactor lean hard into the artifact saccing also. It’s I still like pontiff as well when I get some of those payoff for using treasure cards going I think burning treasure for even more damage through extort can be better than continuing to durdle to get more treasure. Oh also brass bounty and mizzix mastery aren’t in deck super good.

Sunbird's Invocation is bad because the condition is casting spells from your hand, which you are trying NOT to do in this deck, and the extra spells it gives you are not cast from exile, just revealed. This card has zero synergy with this deck.

Yeah man, disagree with marrionette master 100% its such a good wincon whenever treasures are involved, also check your rulings on cards before releasing shorts, that phyrexian unlife video has a few errors. The quality of your content is good but the information you share and your understanding of the game need improving if you are going to be an 'influencer'.

I already talked about missing the marionette master synergy. Hundreds of cards to go through, you'll have to forgive me if I make a mistake now and again. Not sure what errors you're talking about in the winning at zero life short. Thanks for the feedback

@@JakeandJoelareMagic the combo works fine, just minor details like the wall doesnt get +1/+1 counters and you can go to negative infinite with out dying if you lose life. only damage causes you to get poison counters below 0. Also fun side note if your on 1 life and you get hit for 11 damage you got to - 10 without infect since it only checks once your damaged on 0 or less life. Also didnt realise you posted this 2 weeks ago ahaha youve probably heard about marrionette master a lot so my bad!

Marionette master shouldn't be cut. That was just a terrible, terrible, terrible decision. Everytime I get her onto the battlefield if no one has responses I just win the game cracking treasures a taking out the other players.
