Real reason gear cap is 160 is because that's how they converted gear from vet rank to cp level after they got rid of the vet system. CP 160 is equivalent to Vet 16 which was max vet rank.

Yeah I remember my first character being vet 4 or 5 and when champion points came out he got bumped up to like level 400😂

I learned something on this video I did not know! I was unaware that you could put your champion points on a below level 50 character. I knew you could not earn them until after you were in the champion levels I just did not know if you could apply them below 50 ! you are so wise Jake! Another great informative video keep it up!

Jake, great video, Thank you for this. I have been leveling a Sorcerer and have been having a blast, I have been able to complete some public dungeon group events solo -well with Isobel and pets. Seems my problems have were not understanding and not enjoy the night blade I had been using, I am moving away from the "lazy Sorc "and really enjoying learning about the skill choices. I'm not able to solo world bosses but first things first. And first and foremost I am really enjoying the Sorc. Thank you for all your attempts to help, I do appreciate it.

I'm at 830cp 200skill after 2 months play.. I got my main built save. But also saved a basic armory template, I spec only cp & skills that would be mandatory on all my builts. Keeping an overflow of ~100 skills & 150cp *per tree* for specific purposes. Sure it takes me an extra few min when I swap to this built.. But It's sure convient for fishing, crafting, gatherer, whatever! I just update it's template every mile stones 30cp or 10 skills. Cool vid idea's 👍

You will level champion points with your new level 3 char! It will just not be represented to you but it will increase in the background!

@@mufasafalldown8401 meh, I'm currently waiting on a group to go farm vDSR as we speak so /shrug. also i never suggested they had to get rid of people's gear sets as i know how precious they are to some players. Just that doing nothing at all with the gear system is quickly painting them into a corner.

@@trancedoutkid i was mostly speaking about the 160 cap. Once you touch that every single set needs refarmed/crafted. If there's a way to change something without doing that then sure. I moved on from ESO mostly because the combat feels very bad and spammy to me. Light attack weaving and the constant weapon swapping makes all of the animations look very chopped up and silly.

Champion point system sucks. After about 1400 points there is no point in leveling anymore

Jake, have I misunderstood TEMPERED SOUL? The way I read "Return to life after resurrection with 5% more resources per stage" is that I'm the one who gets the extra resources, but at video 16:00 you say that "it doe not help you as an individual but can greatly help your team being able to resurrect them with more resources." I'd like some clarification please, because maybe I'm interpreting the text incorrectly. Do you know what the resources are? [But hey, GREAT video⏤the best I've seen so far on the topic!]
