Hey everyone! To make this brief, I am just a simple Elders Scrolls Online KZbinr and hey maybe I’ll expand within the future but for the time being, my focus is to help beginners, returning and veteran players to be informed about many things within the game whether that is events, money making guides or even builds! I like the game and play it once in a while. I would like it better if there were some more strategy involved. It's mostly luck of the draw. It would be really cool if there were some deck building mechanics. If you had to grind for cards it would be so much more motivating to play. Great video by the way! You are really stepping up production. 👍

I love ToT. Originally i mastered Hlaalu - DC decks, then i mastered Pelins - Hunding decks, then Hlaalu - Red Eagle Decks [it was hard start to "destroy" cards but i learnt]. Rajins was hard, but finally i could made it work with King Orgnum. Then appeared Druid King and i finally mastered Psijic Deck cuz they work perfect togheter. All was great, ToT was cool to play, it was fun, challeging and u could found matches in short time. Then appeared the HUGE MISTAKE IN ToT: Almalexia deck. My gosh that deck is awful. King Orgnum was horrid but when u learn about their mechs it is fun to play it. Almalexia is not fun. If ur draw sucks is impossible a comeback. Aditionally the Almalexia patron is just unuseful. Tx to ToT i gathered many transmute crystal, improved my set ups, and got better chances on DLC dungeons and trials. But i recognize after Almalexia released ToT went downfall. It is sad. Many player like me love the game, but Almalexía ruined the whole experience.

Second Post: I not share ur idea about 20 prestige to gain a match, with a Pelin - DC or a Hlaalu - DC/Red Eagle/Celarus with good draw u can get 20 prestige in just three turns and ur opponent don't have a single chance to comeback. One thing is a cycling combo on turn 8-10 but in turn three u and ur opponent are just arming a deck for mid-late game. An opponent perfect draw can be possible with DC/Red Eagle or Pelins/Hunding but the amazing thing about ToT is u always can comeback if u know how to play.

Thanks for the video. People in the comments have really cool feedback and suggestions. I'm hoping next year we get a robust QoL patch for ToT. Personally I didn't like that playing ToT "takes you out of the world" we only got to see the same board over and over and games tend to get long, also I was disappointed that there wasn't an overworld animation for our characters during ToT matches, we have for browsing inventory, crowns store, scrying, opening crates, etc.,. There has to be a whole rebalance so games are quicker. They could start adding board themes, sell some on the Crown store and let us get a few ones through antiquities. Off topic. I really love these kind of (minigames) side-activities, specially if they are well structured and developed like antiquities, housibg or ToT. Next I want them to add a pet battle system, I was watching videos about WoW's one and is insane. It could add a lot of vitality to non combat playtime sessions, there would be battles on the overworld, pet trading, encourage pet purchases and the most important, give a frigging purpose to everyone's pet vault. I love cards games in general and really enjoy ToT. I think it’s a pretty big undertaking to learn how to play and become familiar with various decks and strategies if you’re not a big fan of card games which I think is a huge barrier for a lot of people. They could improve the tutorial aspects but ultimately there’s going to be people who simply have no desire to learn. I think they should improve rewards, maybe have various tournaments both with people and against NPCs. Maybe temporarily introduce new game modes or variations to spice things up on occasion and see what people enjoy more. I think the game is inherently going to need to take at least 10 minutes unless they reduce your decision time. Reducing down to 20 prestige is not a good idea in my opinion - a lot of people complain about it being just luck and while there is luck involved (as is the case with pretty much all card games) it’s mitigated some by the game taking some time and odds that luck evens out and/or you can strategize accordingly even in the face of bad luck. 40 is a good mark to make a comeback, I’ve had a lot close games that started out unlucky only to make a comeback near the 40 mark. These suggestions would be great implementations. I really enjoy ToT but find myself playing less due to the lackluster time/reward payoff. I generally only play for that first win of the day for the increased XP. Also I wish that they would pause your scroll or buff timers while playing. I don't know how many times I've forgotten I had an XP scroll active and wasted because I wanted to play a "quick" game.

My main issue so far has been the gameplay. You're correct it lasts way too long. I believe that is because of the insane chain combos you can do in this game. I remember sitting back late game and having to wait, or myself begin a combo and rush so that way I may beat the timer that automatically adds my turn lol.

Personally love ToT, got to rank 9 on the leaderboards within 2 weeks using only the 4 starters. But I definently agree with the reward structure. You gotta give the gamemode some slack though, it hasn't been out for long at all and it plays completely unique to any other card game I've played before.

I absolutely love tales of tribute and play it more than pvp and sometimes more than pve content. I think once you really get into the game its very fun and addictive, it's just hard to get into. Though it does not feel rewarding at all to play. I solely play because I enjoy the gameplay, I wish there was some currency to unlock stuff because I'd be down to farm it like crazy and sell to player swho prefer other types of context, it's so sad that one of my favourite ways to play is not rewarding at all.

After trying out the atrocity that is modern Yugioh on Master Duel recently I find myself appreciating TOT more, but the rewards are to lackluster for me to actually dedicate my time. Atleast on master duel I get gems and rewards constantly for free that can be used to get one of those meta decks where it's not about what level of skill you have, it's about having a card that negates everything your opponent did during their turn and allows you to summon 4 to 5 monsters and boost them to 4K attack points each and end your opponent on your first turn.

Love Tales of Tribute. However the current meta is busted, the 5 pieces of Vivec deck is undeniably at the top. We need more creature removal to deal with certain cards. I'm excited for the next card set, hopefully Zenimax can be more strict with the ban list.

I make myself play ToT sometimes because there are some unique things locked in there, like a lead for the music box for telvanni... only reason to do it is get the content gated behind this stupid game mode. And honestly I don't even know what all is locked behind that...i can't find it. I only know of a few specific things that I am looking for that I found out are locked behind this disaster of a card game.

For me as a player who is month in game with 400h, i do BG and ToT because of xp. Honestly BG under 50 lvl are more fun and balanced(probably beacuse most have game drop gear, while after lvl 50 everyone have golden PVP gear.I cant get purple PVE gear how im gonna be mediocer in BG after lvl 50).

Tales of tribute is ok. The issues i see is I and most people I know don’t log on to play a game like ESO to play a card game within that game. It was just a bad idea as a center piece for a chapter update. The rewards are not good. It’s just a half ass feature really lol.

Add it to daily endeavours too. The time is way too long given the rewards. The game gets stale playing with the same small pool of players all the time. The game can really get bitchy too and could be fixed by some deck/Cade changes - especially the Lion deck. I do enjoy the game to relax and play it a lot.

I just saw this video and had to comment I play TOT EVERYDAY here are my takeaways 1 you should be penalized for quitting the game 2i agree about rewards but about XP I get 200,000 plus xp for first win of day with using a 50% scroll 3 Battlegrounds suck unless your a try hard 4 the new decks are to hard to get 5 I'm still waiting for more tournaments 6 what's on the 3rd floor of the gaming hall.Would love to live there lol 7 season should start ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE not when ZOZ feels like it 8 Least the trophies are sellable to vendors I used to.keep them but room got to full 9 themes should open gaming halls in every major city 10 screw the orgnum deck ;)

ToT is a pain in the ass and isn't worth the rewards. I do agree with lowering the prestiege to 20 but one of the thoughts I had is that it should be the first person to 40 or above wins, not enters the endgame where your opponent has the opportunity to pull a sneaky win out from you. The rewards are not there though. I think out of all the matches I've played I've gotten some tranmutes and like two furnishings, otherwise it's just a bunch of junk. But, I've given up on ToT as even the novice npcs are just too difficult for me.

ZOS needs to take notes from other games such as league of legends and fortnite. They have different game modes the are enjoyable and at the same time progressively rewarding. It promotes more game time but also attracts old and new players.

My girlfriend and I actually enjoyed playing ToT against NPC's before the Necrom update. Matches were 3 to 10 minutes although rewards were a bit lackluster, it was fun. Now matches take 15 to 25 minutes and the rewards aren't any better. It felt really bad when they ruined our fun so, now we don't play ToT anymore.

The only major flaw in ToT is the seriously bad rng based system. I've seen rng brutally destroy a player. When one player gets the cards they need from the tavern, but the other players turn is just straight trash. One player gets severely disadvantaged by rng that then disadvantages them more by not allowing them to build any sort of deck. With other card games there is a way for players to have some form of counter play. Here you rely heavily on rng to provide you with your deck.

I *really* enjoyed what I played of it. I was expecting some lame hearthstone rip off, but it's way deeper than that. The only bummer for me was having to go grind out the other 4 decks. And since I only had 4 of the decks, I didn't really want to spend the time or energy to really dig deep and try to understand all that glorious apparent depth.

I would play Tales of Tribute more if the rewards were better. I've never once received transmute crystals as a reward for playing the game, even though I know you can get them in theory, so I gave up. When it comes to the card game itself, there's not enough about it that interests me to keep me playing. If I got at least one transmute crystal EVERY time I played the game, then I would play it. Otherwise, I don't care.

I do not think the game is too long because you have to get 40 prestige. In fact I wish it were longer. Game play is long because of ridiculously slow players. They take nearly all their time in every turn.

Imo, ToT is boring, for me as mmorpg player. It's like endless PvP fights, but you always have them in ToT 😂😂😂. In PvP there's some action at least, but in ToT, just cards, cards, no RT strategy. That's why I do PvP and PVE and it's enough to not get bored. I'm warrior in ESO, not tricky salesman. TBH, it would be really cool if Zos added Boethiah realm as PvP zone, where you kill players and the more players you kill and the more expirienced you kill, you gain the reputation of daedric prince, which spends like ap for special goods and increases the rank in Boethiah leaderboard. However, there are no alliances and allies, everyone is enemy.

How easy is it to cheat in this game? I have caught a couple people or at least seemingly so, cheating. And I have turned in the names and offered tapes. But as far as I know, nothing ever came of it. Gameplay on console might be part of the issue. Because it allows for you not to see things always in real time. The first thing that can happen is sometimes, when you play a card, you must discard a card. And it's supposed to happen immediately. But I have seen it where someone has to discard a card. And they discard a card for the very last move of their turn, which is a huge advantage. If that's what's really happening. So that's why I brought this up.

The only point of playing any game is the game itself. This whole rewards system really messed up the actual value games have in anyone's life. That in itself is the reward. Anything coming beyond should matter very little. Get this well into your heads before complaining for lacking a reward for every little bit of nothing you do.

I watched and disagree with some points and espescially dont know why you needed 17minutes to tell what everyone.allready know. So yes that's what everyone was looking for and yes the rewards arent well enough, and yes it would be good to increase those. But here is my point battlegrounds give you 12k Ap ish that's not 10k gold and players who really enjoy doing those dont play objective they often dont carr If they win or not. I dont know thats maybe a worth of 2k gold. Most players dont go IC or do it in zergs and dont earn a lot of telvar in the same time, especially when they have a long reactiontime and get killed fast.

I flat out don't understand the game. Part of me wants to play it, but the in game tutorial is trash and all the KZbin videos I can find are overwhelming and confusing. The lack of rewards simply leaves me with no incentive to push through the learning curve.

It's easy bro. It took me a bit but I understand it now. Basically you are trying to get prestige. Depending on the deck/cards there are a couple ways to do that. Some cards give it outright. Some give power. Some gold. Power is interesting because all unused power turns to prestige at the. End of each turn. Gold is used to buy cards or for patrons. You can use power to knock out your opponent's agent cards. Whoever reaches 40 prestige first wins. Combo cards are great and give you extra stuff when you play cards from the same patron. Agent cards are cards that stay in play and have an effect every turn. Action cards are played once and do something whether it gives gold or power or any other thing. Both of those go into your cool down pile once played. Contract action cards are similar but are played once purchased and don't go into your deck. Contract agent cards are played once purchased and stay until knocked out. Just read what each patron does and what each card does and you should be good. At the end of the game the player with most prestige wins. Good luck! And I hope to see you playing it soon!

ToT somehow manages to be both incredibly boring and overly complicated at the same time. The bland artwork on the cards and lack of flashy animations also don't help matters. Gwent from Witcher 3 was infinitely better. Even something very simple like Triple Triad in FF14 would be better than ToT because at least the games would be super fast.

Actually no... I've spent hours and hours playing Tribute... And I've spent no, that is zero time in battlegrounds, and a small time in imperial City both ow which, in my opinion suck totally. I do not like pvp. Just don't. And I'm mostly a solo kinda old lady (yeah I'm old sorry if that offends you young-uns). The thing that is annoying to me about Tribute is there are, in my opinion, some kind of glitches or something in the game that make it almost impossible to win consecutively and which won't allow me to get on the leaderboards. I'll win a few times if I'm grinding to get rubedite level, then I'll have like 5 or 6 in a row that I lose. At first it was me, but I've watched all you guys videos on how to get good at this., And so far the odds are never in my favor and the other guys always win. I'm good at pvp Texas hold-em.. and other card games... Not tribute. I've only managed to get on the leaderboard level twice. I'll get almost there or make it there and then I'll lose over and over and never make ranking level it's discouraging... 😢 And I've gotten to where I just play for the tribute packages... Which have sellable stuff so it's not a complete loss of my time and I like it as a game in general. Can you help this dumbness I'm struggling with ??

I think if you want to get good competitively it comes down to knowing your deck inside and out and what cards you want to push for. But you also have to balance that strategy based the decks your opponent picks as well which makes it harder to master

@@Official_JakeClips Many people see ToT like a random card game. ToT is a matematician balanced game, u can see all ur cards, the cards on play, the draw pool, and the opponent cards. I am agree with u Jake, sometimes u need play not with ur deck choices but with ur opponent deck choices. A huge mistake in noobs players is don't know how to use patrons. I got wipe my ass like a ToT noob many times when leading a match cuz i did not know how use patrons, finally i learnt how use them. I am not a top ten but i can get between 50-100.

ToT is awful. You can be losing a game in pvp, and your opponent drags the game out to 45 minutes to am hour instead of just finishing the game. It's ridiculous.

Why it was negatively perceived? Easy! Because it is utter crap, boring and annoying, all rolled into one. I did play it in the beginning a couple of times and thought maybe i am just not understanding it, but then lost very quickly interest, even after understanding it. It is just a waste of time, no exciting rewards (as always with ZOS), not even interesting game play or strategies. I rather explore the world, collect skyshards, do every single side quest in all zones and the daily quests for the 5000th time. I'd rather run Bastion Nymics again or or sit down on a pin cushion than playing Tales of Tribute. I even prefer to do all time rifts for the Psijic Order and level Excavation and Scrying to max or stand for 48 hours straight there and fish. The only people excited about this game, were from ZOS. Why, i can't understand. Did this idea come up when there was a "Bring your kids to work" day at ZOS?

So the card game is not fun, far far to long, and you get nothing, if ESO want's to fix the card game make it less that. I played once and was willing to spend real world cash to make it stop. I did not lode the game for a week it was so bad. Worst part of ESO.

It's pvp according to Sheogorath. Pure madness, boredom, crazy combos, score, economy. Chapter design doesn't fit anymore lmao. It should have been in Cyrodil. This game is unlore if it's in High Isle. If you look cuted content from sheogorath quest in skyrim, there was actually a card game, which was tales of tribute. Telling to you, tes fans, stop thinking it's breton game, it's sheogorath game.
