I've watched quite a few channels of trappers setting for marten and I do believe you are the only one I've seen who has more than 1 set at a location. I never trapped marten but have trapped fisher and I ALWAYS had 2 sets waiting. A pole or tree with a cage and a foothold set one the ground. Nice video and beautiful mountains!!

I live in SE Minnesota. We don't have wolves in this part of the state. We do have a decent population of wolves in other parts of the state. The issue is we can't hunt or trap them So the next best thing is to follow you on your adventures on your trap line. I really enjoy your videos. They are excellent quality. It shows you put a lot of effort into your trap line and videos Please keep up the great work.

Beautiful wolfs nice to see you being rewarded with some nice furs , just curious if you prefer a quad with track option over atv snow machine combo ?

I ran quad with tracks beginning of season because of conditions. Then transition to snowmobile when snow caught up. But snowmobile blew up. Twice. So I stuck with quad two winters. Just got snowmobile again. The quad works to hard with tracks on. So I use it only when I have to now. I would never tell anyone to put tracks on a quad. Unless you have a practical reason. Then they are appreciated. They need constant cleaning of snow after each ride. Boogie wheel bearings wear out, snow around cv joints can freeze up and rip apart etc etc. it’s a production….

Know what happened? Not sure…what I know is, generally speaking, that loves and coyotes are very cautious when first coming into a bait. Until they know they are the ones that own it. Then it’s a free for all.

All living beings die marsh hawk. Including you and I. The difference is you and i die in care of humans where predators die from exposure, starvation or predation. Or combinations of any or all of those three ways. Every, single, one of them.

@@marshhawk730 I’m not lecturing anyone. I’m only learning. I’m not a biologist. I would entertain having a conversation with you over a coffee. To digitally go on in response to your initial comment would be counterproductive to either of our points of view. Regionally, dynamics vary species to species. Much of these wolves genetics comes from the national park which shares the border of my trapline. Where these best unique specimens are rooted. They will continue to be just fine and n spite of me and a few other trappers removing a few handfuls of them from the gene pool. Thanks for the comments.
