That truck should be in a museum. I remember when they were new and was shocked at the big round holes in the frame and the lack of a full floating rear axle. If I remember it has a Dana 44 front axle too. They improved them as the years went on and beefed them up and became good trucks. Had a 1982 F-150 4x4 with a 300 and a 4 speed over drive. It was a great truck and did everything I asked of it and some of it was more than I should have asked
@fwcjr81703 жыл бұрын
This one is a light duty 3/4 ton which had the light duty axles and springs. It was based on gvwr which I don’t remember what it was. The heavy duty 3/4 ton had a full floating rear axle and much larger front hubs as well. It was rated at 8600 lb gvwr. I agree with the other comments that this truck belongs in a museum or some collectors garage.

A working feedback carb system on these is rare in itself. They were extremely easy to disable and convert to straight carb and many people who got these just pulled the systems off themselves. They broke down a lot especially under heavy use anyway and there is little chance of restoring an old one to working order because parts are nearly nonexistent. You might just have the last completely stock bullnose underhood.
