@@herbengle2679 Well it's got literally NO miles on it so it's possible the paint might be ok under there but you'd have to locate a NOS or minty wheel opening trim set unless they're still on the truck under the madness. I'd actually HAVE TO see the truck with that mess removed and confirm no damage was done and it would easily go back to stock before I bid on it at all.

Ya, I didn't see the axle code either, whoever ordered that truck, screwed up. Wrong mirrors, wrong rear bumper, awful color. Being 2wd, that's a hard sell, it's only good for pulling a trailer, but mirrors are wrong, and doors are different for swing lock or recreation mirrors, so major problem.

@txmuddigger way back in 1988 I ordered my F350 4x4 with a 460 and a 5spd. I thought it would help save gas, there’s not much of anything that’s going to help a 460 on gas mileage. I still have the truck though the only major component that hasn’t been rebuilt is the front axle. I’ve had the truck this long, I couldn’t bare to part with it.

$35,000.00 ?? That'll never happen. It's not even the highest end of the series and it's a standard cab. No matter how you slice it, it's a 1/4 century old standard cab truck. I got an F350 dually, extended cab, fully loaded, top of the line for < 10% of that price and that includes a brand new engine and transmission and Gear Vendors. @@herbengle2679 it's not a bad truck the engine's great the transmissions great an F250 is strong. It's just that you could spend that money on other trucks and get something better. There's not an advantage to being low mileage at that point. Do you still have deteriorated rubber parts and you still have whatever rust and what not will happen you can get one with 50,000 miles for a whole lot less there's just really not an advantage to it being that low of miles.

@@davidmckibbin4440 Are you saying there is an advantage to that low of miles on a truck that old? No there isn't. Some parts wear and some don't really matter. The rubber seals break down, the paint, etc... I bought my fully loaded ext cab dually with a blown engine/trans and bad paint. for $33,000.00 less than that truck. I got a reman 460, new trans and new paint for about $3K. So I now has a zero mile engine, zero mile trans, zero mile paint on a truck that is MUCH better than that truck. Not to mention a fully 5th wheel tow system, 110 gallon spare gas tank, GV gear splitter/overdrive. There's no advantage that would come anywhere close to that price, not even close. I'd rather have my fully loaded, gone thru truck than this "dealer says it's all good". Did they reseal the transmission? Did they replace all the rubber, all the hoses, all the belts, all the brakes? No, they just polish it and get it out the door at the highest price they can get. It's not about looks. Also, this is a low end truck. No extended cab, no captains chairs... Only a fool would buy this truck and value the low miles for anything near that price.

The original owner probably died before he got a chance to use it or just couldn't afford the gas it would take to feed it.

Maybe disconnected the speedometer cable the only thing is is the fact that it's so clean and depending where he lived at a lot of states you have to your car inspected every year and if you're not going to drive it you don't need to get it inspected it's one thing about it it probably don't have any kind of a warranty on it left that puppy probably literally run out good looking truck

Nice truck for sure. Not how I would personally set it up, but a nice truck. Why are there so many FUC---- haters. If ya don't like it, tuff shit, poor mileage- not your choice, too many "grandpa" goodies- again- not your choice. My guess, all you assholes that have negative comments don't even own a truck, live with your momma and don't have a job. Take the truck for what it is and leave it at that.

Well other than being sort of interesting you tube video topic, what do you do with this truck? Because of its rarity I'm sure the owner wants way too much money for what it actually is at the end of the day and because it's not at all a popular body style I don't see anybody scrambling to grab it up!! This unfortunately is just an interesting low miles example of an otherwise mundane vehicle and nothing else.

It would be nice if it was a different color, you got rid of the frufru chrome and running boards, it was 4WD, had a headache rack, a gooseneck ball, etc, etc. Of course as is, it would sell well in Mexico.
