@txmuddigger way back in 1988 I ordered my F350 4x4 with a 460 and a 5spd. I thought it would help save gas, there’s not much of anything that’s going to help a 460 on gas mileage. I got a reman 460, new trans and new paint for about $3K. So I now has a zero mile engine, zero mile trans, zero mile paint on a truck that is MUCH better than that truck. Not to mention a fully 5th wheel tow system, 110 gallon spare gas tank, GV gear splitter/overdrive. There's no advantage that would come anywhere close to that price, not even close. I'd rather have my fully loaded, gone thru truck than this "dealer says it's all good". Did they reseal the transmission? Did they replace all the rubber, all the hoses, all the belts, all the brakes? No, they just polish it and get it out the door at the highest price they can get. It's not about looks. Also, this is a low end truck. No extended cab, no captains chairs... Only a fool would buy this truck and value the low miles for anything near that price.
