A friend of mine and her sister share a 2017 limited and it has 90,000 miles because they drive everywhere and it’s been a great car so far.

A 2018 Ford Focus hatchback or sedan fully loaded as an SEL or titanium is a lot nicer than these. I still think my 2017 Ford Focus sedan in Oxford white and has the SEL package and is fully loaded without the cold weather package. This Elantra don’t have LED lighting. Rear sensing. The 8” touchscreen with sync 3 with navigation and sirius xm radio. Sony audio system with the subroofer speaker in the trunk. 911 assist, ambient mood lighting, sunroof, fog lights, 17” black and silver painted rims and a back up camera. HD radio and dual zone climate. And has the 6 speed select shift automatic with sport mode. Also has cruise control, voice commands. Center display with speed, MPG, miles or range left, elapsed timing, and more. We got ours for 22,445.00$ and discounts and etc. got it for 17k and bought it new with 14 miles. We have owned it for about a year and has 28,000 miles. Has a 2.0L GDI 160HP (more than this Elantra) I’ve seen newer focuses beat elantras off the line. The focus has more power than what an Elantra has. We even average 32MPG and it has 160HP!! I guarantee you I can race this one in my focus and dust it in seconds. My 2.0L GDI has launch control too.

The 2018 Hyundai Elantras are very good cars! You shouldn't discount them. I own a 2017 Value Edition and it's good for what it is. It's comfortable, compliant and attractive. Sure it's not sporty but it gets the job done. It's a perfect commuter. This is my first automatic car too. I've driven manuals my entire driving life and it's great not to worry about kicking clutches for once! Efficient Atkinson 2.0 engine paired with a 6 speed auto. Props to Hyundai for making a sophisticated Elantra IMO. My next car will probably be an EV and the Hyundai Kona is in my top three list. Peace.

You'd better hold on to your chevy cruze then because GM just discontinued it. Chevy will Cruze to the grave. To bad, so sad. Peace.

ToyotaFord 2 You do realize you have one of the most unreliable transmissions of automotive history? Which you fail to mention in any of your comments. I wouldn’t discredit the Hyundai, it’s a far nicer car and has much more useable features.
