When ever I get my a** whipped by a higher belt I feel discouraged for a second, that I realize if I keep training one day I’ll be this good and would do the same thing to lower belts I get so pumped up and happy for doing this beautiful sport.

Smooth, controlled rolls. I love the technical movements and your clear explanations of them. I remember watching this video a couple of years ago, and it went a long way toward adding the rolling Kimura to my game. Thanks for sharing!

Aloha Jake. I have a question for you. I have been thinking alot about different BJJ players games\styles when it comes to technique, aggression, pressure, mental attitude, complete game, so on and so forth. So my question is, out of all the rolls you have had who is the scariest BJJ fighter you have experienced (or martial artist)?
@BudoJake7 жыл бұрын
+Kainoa Marchello I don't think I've been scared in a roll, but if you ask who was the most intense it would be Ralph Gracie. If you see our roll on the Rolled Up episode, he goes after that first tap with a lot of aggression. Just as his nick name -pitbull

Hi Christopher, sorry I haven't visited any schools in Ibaraki but a quick google search shows that there's a Checkmat school there and a couple others. Hope you find something good.
