In 2024 Temple Run has been completely overshadowed by Subway Surfers. There are so many games that copied Temple Run's style that its hard to believe it was the pioneer of the genre. But, as always, its creators have milked the series dry, resulting in quite a few games you probably didn't know existed. So let's go through the entire history of the series and rank EVERY game in order of release.

Through the rose tinted glasses of my youth I'm certain the greatest endless runner was the spiderman game. I'm pretty sure it featured changing environments, boss battles and a near endless roster of unlockable spidermen and women. I will not attempt to variefy any of these claims in fear of 1. When you say you’re doing the bloons series, I’d recommend the Ninja Kiwi Archive for the original flash versions of bloons, Bloons Tower Defense 1-5, and Bloons super monkey (the app Bloons Super Monkey 2 is different from the flash version.) but the city game on steam is the same as the flash version from what I can tell. Hope my confused ramblings help.

Also, I feel like the idle game had a lot of missed potential - you could run to collect some gems or whatever to power your idle machines which make gold, but the stronger machines require better/rarer gems which can only be found deeper, requiring you to spend your gold to buy power ups and unlock new maps.

I tried temple run when i was a kid like maybe 2013 and I dowloaded it again recently and at first i was confused cuz of all the skins and stuff , I remember playing TR 2 and OZ and i totally forgot playing brave. I gasped when you mentioned the bow shooting in the middle of the run. That's the only thing i remember of brave. Well now i am felling nostalgic and i will download TR OZ to play since that was my favorite out of all the IMANGI games.

The original Temple Run is SO FUN but the issue I've always had was there'd be these parts that were literally just impossible. You'd have to jump over a tree only for there to be another tree you'd have to jump over at the EXACT SPOT where you'd land. Even with good timing, you'd fail and >have< to use one of your revives and watch an ad.

I've played temple run vr! It was fun. The monkeys are actually pretty legit scary in vr, give you a little fright sometimes. Though I have a high vr motion tolerance and it always made me a little sick after a few run throughs. I kept going back to play it though...
