A Worthy Upgrade? Q1 Max + CERAKEY-caps

There's a significant amount of rattling in your stabilizers there. I'd suggest using some krytox or dielectric grease and syringe to lube them up as a fix.

$150+ for keycaps! People are going crazy, makes me wonder what are their Gross Margins! :) For my V1 Max I replaced the default ones with Cherry PBT double-shot dark blue/black and light blue (ESC, Enter, arrows), as here on cerakeys, and am happy, totalling to $25 after 40% discount. The default OSA PBT sounded best for me, though a far cry what I achieved with mods on my V1 Max. Expect next someone to come up with "exclusive" carbon fibre keycaps, with a proce tag of $200-$300.

Did you buy that OSA keycap seperately? It comes with the V max boards and I expected to really dislike it but I absolutely love it so far. Their texture feels incredible and I also enjoy that their profile is a lower than regular OEM and kinda reminds me of a softer cherry. EDIT: btw the RTINGS review are out for the V max series, and finally keychron has great latency for gaming. I imagine it's the exact same for the Q max since they use the same board / chips / mcu

The OSA came from my V1Max. I have a separate video comparing the Q1 + V1 Max boards. I quite like the OSA profile as well

It’s like jingle bells 🔔 😳 Mainly because of poor out of box stabilization from Keychron on the Q1, which is amplified by the ceramic keycaps
