It's always awkward when something you play becomes "popular", cos then you feel like if you post it that people will think you're just following the trend! Regardless, I love your arrangement of this song, as well as all your other arrangements! Keep up the great work.

Very good Jake, I've always loved this Toto composition and you've captured those vocal lines so darn well in melodic sense. Here you see that a well composed piece always has a strong melody which can stand alone and also shines as a great instrumental, as usual professional and tasteful work, Vic.

I really like your playing styles, many songs I listened from you. One thing I cant figure out is ur tone. May you record a song with flatwound string once when you have the mood to restring this AF75? Or do you have some other guitar too? We always can see you with this axe. Thank you and all the best!

@coppulor65009 жыл бұрын
+Will Sync Lol. I said the same thing a few years ago. I have no problem teasing someone about something so superficial when they have such extraordinary talent. I've been playing over thirty years and am a decent player but Jake is a master. I don't go out much these days to listen to music but if Jake were playing I'd go in a heartbeat every single time.
@MrMonsterkaraoke8 жыл бұрын
And I thought Andy Mckee was a master...hell no...you are the better man
@JakeReichbart8 жыл бұрын
Thanks very much, please feel free to share! :-) Just a different approach, I think mine is maybe a little more accessible as an arrangement for "regular guys", like me... But certainly Andy is great! I have a terrific video lesson for this arrangement, email me at jake.reichbart@gmail.com if interested in some info... Thanks again!
@jonRmac768 жыл бұрын
Totally agree. Andy McKee is awesome of course, but it's hard to figure out his stuff with all the crazy tunings he uses. I like your versions, they're complex, but if you know the chords, yours are much easier to figure out by watching and listening.
