This is definitely one of my favorites and is massively underrated. I'm glad you liked it. Fun fact is that Ryan's uncle Gary O'Shaughnessy represented Ireland in the Eurovision back in 2001.

I love this song! It being in semi final one really discouraged me though because it seems like the tougher semi final... but on a good note Ireland performs second to last so hopefully his performance will stick in people’s minds as they vote! I’d love to see this qualify :)

This one of my favorites this year, it's so beautiful. I don't have any expectations about points though, I hope Ireland qualifies to the final, but this type of song can sometimes end up forgotten and not stand out enough to everyone, sadly.

Truly beautiful song & really hope people vote for Ireland as a 'real' song bitter sweet lyrics we can all relate too quality as a song contest and this for me is outstanding and such a beautiful video simple & elegant. Best of luck from the UK.

That's not Ryan in the video by the way. He's a singer / songwriter who plays acoustic guitar and that's how he'll perform on stage in Lisbon. He does indeed have a load of songs on iTunes and other videos on KZbin

He's the singer, the two guys in the video's were dancing, acting like a gay couple, which the song is about (love in general too, but it refers to a gay friend of his) and those two dancers also performed with him in Lisbon. That's why the performance was banned in China: Because there was a gay couple on stage

Firstly Ryan is not in the video, the competition is the European song contest so staging should not have anything to do with it, and anyway i don't think it would matter if ireland sent the best song ever they wont win , unless they move to eastern europe. just look at what happened to ireland in 2015 and you'll understand what i mean, everybody needs good neighbours lol and lots of them.when ireland was winning it was because of the song's no fancy staging just the song ,
