aw ive requested this a few times and im disappointed you didnt really like it! if you youtube jedward you'll see they've had loads of success before and after this but after this performance they gained a lot of international fans and they also represented ireland in 2012 as well, they actually placed 8th here and in the years since ireland havent managed to place as high, i used to be a huge jedward fan for a good two years from 2011-2013 and i saw them quite a few times and also met them they're lovely guys and just completely misunderstood by people who dont actually know them and have only seen their performances

They were only 19 in this video. And they have been bullied since they began their journey on X Factor 2009. They're just two little kids in grown up bodies, trying to reach their dreams. Not the best vocalists. But you can't deny the fact that they're entertaining. And personally, I think they're aware that their vocals aren't that good. But they don't care. They always try to do their best. And the song was actually so catchy, definitely better than my country's winner song (Running Scared). Catchy song, fun staging, entertaining performers - good eurovision entry.

Jake, I would recommend that you listen to the studio version of the song, without any of the visual distractions. It's a proper pop song that exuded "cool" back in 2011. It's a matter of musical tastes, but I was very happy that it ended up in the top ten.

they will forever be one of my favourite entries ever. they were the first artists i followed after the contest ended, they competed a year later and i was at a festival during that final without internet, so my friend texted me when the phone lines were open so i could still vote for them! theyre such positive people and it clearly resonated with the audience and they were a huge part of me getting even more invested in eurovision, wanting to get to know the artists outside of the semifinals/finals alone!

I remember back when they competed, I kind of heard about them, but I got the impression they were a novelty act whose whole gimmick was that they were twins and had giant hair and shoulder pads... and since I didn't really follow Eurovision back then, I never actually listened to the song.
