This is one of my favourite entries from my country. The control she has over her voice, it's so amazing. And that note, it's epic. If you want to react to other good old entries from Spain. I recommend you "Bailar Pegados" by Sergio Dalma (1991). This is one of the most popular entries if not the most. And "Eres tú" by Mocedades (1973). Amaya Uranga is my favourite singer ever. She's the perfect combination of technic and emotion. And she makes me cry every single time.
@anghara20016 жыл бұрын
I've requested both songs too. I'm from Spain and 49 years old, so Mocedades and later El Consorcio (the group they founded when Mocedades split) have been around my life forever, and as for Sergio Dalma, one of his first hits was my first ever slow dance (Esta chica es mía). I love his voice, his rasp tone and his charisma on stage.

Great start with the new system!! Anabel : such a talented artist...great performance. She finished 2nd... But she was so unlucky... Spanish TV got scared that her talent could make her winner because they didn't want to host the contest the following year. She lost their support. Then her record company did not allow her to release her albums outside Spain. The company went bust. All together with some sexual harassment episodes made her leave her career. Today she's a music teacher in a town near Málaga. She told her story in an interview in El País newspaper around 2 months ago.

I also enjoyed listening to this song even though my Spanish is limited to maybe 50 words, even more than many of today's English entries. I also have to say that the lighting in your reaction now is spot on! So good it looks like you had a facial or something. reminding you that Israel 2010 (Milim - Harel Ska'at) should be reacted to the *studio version* (like, trust me here on this, you want to hear the studio-masterpiece version before the live trainwreck..)

I enjoyed this entry :) Spain is usually underrated. I suggest some Hungarian entries because I coudn't see any requests for them which I don't really understand. They're always so good and different, they're like a breathe of fresh air in the contest :) 1994 - Everyone remembers of Poland from that year which came 2nd. The Hungarian song was as beautiful as the Polish and finished 4th place. 2005 - This didn't finish in top 10 but is my personal favorite :) "Hungarian riverdance" 😅 2007 - Her voice's just beautiful and so different from other songs. Finished 9th. 2013 - Again, like nothing else. Some people say it's boring but it came 8th with the televoting. I just can't stop smiling while I'm whatching the performance :) 2014 - I know you're going to react to all of the performances from 2014. I can't wait :) The song is about child abusment & domestic violence and so well-written and performed. Also D&B at Eurovision?! It was again so different from the other songs that competed. He came 5th :) I hope you'll see my comment and choose something to react to! They're worth it :)

Maestro Leyva made the orchestral arrangements at the last minute and rounded out this song. Nobody, absolutely nobody trusted that this girl of only 19 years old could achieve live reach the treble roller coaster that she managed. When the rehearsals began and the girl sang and began to rise as the foam in the bets started the boycott of TVE. The day of the final more than one was with his ass on fire thinking that Anabel would win and Spain would have to organize the contest the following year. In fact, they didn’t want to appeal the victory of Nocturne (a master piece but not for Eurovision). Anabel told her story and TVE ostracized her. Sad story.
