collection is just a word. Someone could call it reptile family and take shitty care of them. It matters about care, not a word
@goldenbean9311 жыл бұрын
Its tough taking care of many animals and you are doing an amazing job. All your pets are well taken care of, I wish I had as many reptiles you have. Great video!!!
@brandimcgugan43449 жыл бұрын
yeah its been commented on your video but sand is a awful awful substrate for almost ANY reptile, if they ingest it, it can really mess them up. please use tile. or even astral turf.
@repin9189 жыл бұрын
Brandi Mcgugan i have kept reptiles on sand for over twelve years. and no do not put them on tile or astro turf the animal deserves to have a set up that is as close to their natural habitat as possible
@repin9189 жыл бұрын
***** never had any impaction issue in twelve years i have all my reptiles basking spots at 115 degrees Fahrenheit the high tempature helps them to pass blockages

Just BEAUTIFUL "collection" there! I have 2 russian tortoises (male and female) and I just LOVE them!
@Cheesetoon11 жыл бұрын
I really envy you dude. You are one of the only people on KZbin who actually knows how to care for reptiles. You give them realistic enclosures, heat, necessary living requirements, and don't put them in plastic containers as a lot of people do. I really like you! Oh yea, and you specifically said that it isn't a collection or a huge hoard

You're one of the few reptile channels I've seen that actually has a Hydrometer and a Thermometer in every tank. I can't wait to have a collection your size. I currently own a normal Ball Python named Monty and a Veiled Chameleon named Charma. I used to own two Bearded Dragons (Amazing pets) and a Green Iguana (man was she evil!). I love seeing avid herp owners who know what they're doing!! Spread the knowledge! :D

Your turtles babies are awesome. I remember catching baby soft shells at the park here as a kid, but now you can't find them anymore. I think the pollution kills the babies off, because I still see large females at the pond next to the river.

I got my Hermanns tortoise yesterday. He is about 2 years old and was being kept in a 20 gallon with no uvb. His shell is cracked a bit and deformed. I feel bad for him, but this summer im making him a big outdoor pen to get some really good uvb. Right now I have him in a old wooden drawer thats like 4 by 3 feet. it works great.

I'm getting a Ball Python soon and was just wondering what the best source of heat is for a BP? I know an under tank heating pad is good for it, but would a basking light be required? If so, which exact kind? It will be my first snake and I want to provide the ultimate best care for the animal. I've done a lot of research and don't know which idea I trust most. What's YOUR opinion on it?

Tebo would also love deeper water. I know most ppl say like 1-2x the height of their body but alligators do genuinely enjoy deep water like 80 degrees and a 95° baskin area
