Beautiful piece of gear! I’m just scratching the surface of the ❤ CORE in that video :) Please don’t take the drums too serious, they’re just a placeholder for now. Thanks Waldorf! I will try the CORE this weekend in my live set up for the first time!

Love my Iridium Desktop. Such an inspiring synthesizer. This is great for those in the market for a powerful multi-engine synth. Would love to see a companion app for making wavetables ❤

For its price you might as well just get the original desktop version with much more hands on control. I really don't see the piont of this at whats pretty much the same price as the original. Not sure what Waldorf are thinking here!!

I thought this was a more modern, robust Blowfeld replacement. Not even close. $2,000? I guess my 30 year dream of owning a Waldorf will just stay a dream.

I think they’re banking on people wanting the “new thing” but they totally missed the mark here. This should have been priced around $1,100-$1,200 if they wanted to see success. I guess they’ll learn the hard way… when no one budges on these.

If this thing were £800, it would flyyyyyyy off the shelves. I use a Digitakt live with an Iridium, and I have a Summit too. I'd quite like this to interface with my Digitakt, but not worth it at that price tbh.

Why so many people are talking about the "same price" for Iridium vs. Iridium core? It´s a difference of at least 500€, is that nothing? Do they all have an oil well in the backyard?

If the full desktop price is 2Grand then $1300 max would have been a fair price for this. Waldorf missed the mark.

The full desktop is $3,500, the core is $2,400

I really like Waldorf and they are different from a lot out there, I can’t help thinking that they need some investment and a good business development manager though, the ideas and concepts are genius but the back up is lacking they need more continuous regular push in the market

After Waldorf drooping support for the Kyra and never continue the much needed and promised development + 3 faulty Iridiums, l’m done with Waldorf and their expensive/underdeveloped tactics. SHAME!

Got lot problems as well.. lot connections problems .. USB noises .. that form factor could be perfect . But I want the analog filters … but no I stick on my DSI devices 😂

did you encounter the white screen of death on any of the Iridiums? the screen issues on the Iridium, and the Quantum are the main reason why i've shied away from both units.

@@xiaoxia5 mostly Dying on me while trying a bit of basic,complex synthesis, they would freeze randomly, screen coming up from their place. Not proper touching screen working in certain menus. Pop and clicks in certain patches. A long list of issues
