Kingsley's delivery day was a whirlwind for sure. After failing another BPP(Biophysical Profile) we were marched over to labor and delivery to have an immediate c-section. It was certainly different than Evangeline's birth day(
Adoption Birth Vlog: • Birth Vlog | Adoption ... ) in some ways but weirdly similar in others(breech position, growth restricted, c-section).

I went home 44 hours post csection and in retrospect, I wish I had stayed longer. I had an evening delivery and just wanted to get home for all the same reasons, but by the time my daughter had her first pediatrician appt, she was down 20% of her birth weight (thanks pcos for a non existent milk supply 🙄). I feel like if I had stayed longer, I would have known sooner about her weight loss. We went home on a Saturday, so it was 2 days until we could get in with the ped. Congratulations on your sweet boy, he’s perfect 💜

C-Section buddies! So good that you are recovering well. Kingsley is adorable. I have PCOS and am breastfeeding too. I noticed a dip in my supply at about a month in, and started eating lactation cookies to give it a boost, which worked. I later switched to supplements (brewers yeast and fenugreek) to avoid the excess calories in my diet, and almost 4 months in we're still going strong. I also have found the Medela Calma teat to be useful to prevent nipple confusion, and the haakaa pump for overnight use. I'm looking forward to more updates on how you and Kingsley are doing.
