Kingsley's delivery day was a whirlwind for sure. After failing another BPP(Biophysical Profile) we were marched over to labor and delivery to have an immediate c-section. It was certainly different than Evangeline's birth day(

After 2.5 years of battling infertility, we welcomed our little baby girl Evangeline into our family on July 18th, 2019. In May of 2021, our little baby boy Kingsley joined the journey and made Evie a big sister. You can check out the other videos on my channel to see our journey to starting our family. Congrats, Mama! I also just had my first (IVF) baby at the end of April! It was also an unexpected C-Section. Baby girl was 6lb15oz and we didn’t get to breastfeed because she wouldn’t latch and I have PCOS, too. Pumping was so frustrating, only getting a few drops to up to 1oz per pump. It was mentally and physically draining, so we are exclusively formula feeding now. Looking forward to continuing to follow your journey.

Thanks for sharing your experience as well! I think it is so helpful for women to hear that you can breast feed for a while and then stop; you don't have to commit to a whole year and then feel bad when you can't' make that lofty goal.

So glad everything is ok. Also, thank you for sharing about breastfeeding/pumping/stopping. I also had a really tough time breastfeeding. I tried for 3 weeks and then pumped for another 4 before I completely stopped producing. I had so much mama guilt about it. Glad your headspace is better.

Haha yes! The incision is made below the public hair line so they have to shave that area before hand.
