i think they are expanding to accomodate new trains that will be introduced for srinagar.. right now at night time there is so much congestion of trains- har 5 minute main 1 train hai. with more platforms you can handle them

Not much sir, they’re just constructing a 4 lane road which is not even proper. In future after the completion of ring road only the airport can be developed.
