He has so much upside, the only big knock I've seen is his consistent issue short arming throws beyond 15 yards, especially when the target is going deep, from both the limited college play and his HS tape. He has a fluid motion, throws with touch when necessary, makes reads, throws his receivers into stride, and doesn't run at the first sign of pressure. He could definitely benefit from first team reps for a summer and needs to iron out the downfield issue and a little bit of happy feet, but I see an all-SEC caliber QB, no doubt. The disasters from the A&M game from last season will be seen as an insane fluke by the time he leaves college.

@Deep.Purple Жыл бұрын
Absolutely wrong. He is not a QB and he is NOTHING like Hurts was at this stage of the game. If Milroe starts Alabama will have one of the worst seasons since Saban has been coach. Even Vegas odds tell that story -- You can dream all you want to, it's not realistic and his season last year SHOULD tell you all you need to know. This year it looks like we'll be running more and in that sense he's a fit .. but if he has to throw.. we're in trouble. And I don't think he will be starting (as a passer) this year. His whole year last year, was a insane fluke by those standards. He almost lost the game in Arkansas and ALMOST lost the game in College Station. He's not ready and he should go back to being a Running back... sheesh...
@resolutrial_ Жыл бұрын
@@Deep.Purple he had one week of starting reps in practice before facing one of the best defenses in the country. Threw three touchdowns in that game, but still hard to make a true judgment out of that. Anyway, I care nothing about what some bookmaker in Vegas says, it's always gonna come down to Saban's assessment. Jalen Hurts was hardly a competent passer at the same time of his career, it's not like Milroe was throwing every fifth pass straight into the dirt like Hurts was. He needs time to develop, I see no reason to doubt that he could improve enough by September. Also, he was never a running back and was a highly rated QB coming from high school. But overall, I'm not worried. If Saban says he's not the guy, then he's not.

@nylontusk1289 Жыл бұрын
Yeah he is waaaaay toooooo damn talented, I couldn't agree more. He's GOT TO BE THE GUY until proven otherwise. If it were me I would kind of call the offense like Kiffin did with hurts in 2016 and how Daboll did with hurts in 2017. Make some designed runs, get your playmakers out in space, get the ball out fast, run that ball, commit to the run, and dial some big plays up when you know the time for the play is right and maybe dial a few more deep to keep the safeties on back far from the box. That was a few of the ingredients that got Bama in the national championship two years in a row with an extremely athletic, run dominant quarterback the last time so I think that would be kind of the same philosophy they should want to utilize this time around. + Jalen Milroe i believe could be hurts 2.0 from an athletic standpoint. Funny how hurts can read through his progressions like he's freakin drew brees now, if he would have been able to do that at Bama he probably would've never lost his job but I'm glad things worked out the way it did because watching Tua was very special.

There are some highlights. Like I said I tried to get whatever I could on him. And it does say Highlight and Plays, some are just plays and some are highlights.

It's sad you mad a whole video lying with confidence. You posted a picture of the last drill. He never set out of any drills. The drill he didn't do was for linebackers backpedaling. All the drills were back to back and the beginning reps were explosive. I recorded all the reps. I really think it's sad that the world has lost compassion and understanding for people are going through. He's a young man dealing with a lot of negativity and stress. Do God's work and support the young brother.

Which picture are you talking about? Cause I’m honestly confused. If you’re talking about the picture of him from behind with His Jersey number and name showing. I just liked the picture because of that. My thumbnails are of the players and I try my best to make really good ones.

Hopefully nick has got better sense than to start this guy his passing game stinks

I'm pulling for a National Championship, not any one player on this team. We will not win a championship without a QB that can force a defense to respect his passing ability beyond 15 yards. Jalen Hurts is a prime example. If Milroe hasn't improved in the passing game we will be down at the half against Texas and he will be benched. Maybe Lonergan can come in and bale us out if that happens like Tua did.

Why you say that? Didn’t have the best Oline and Your Receivers were young. I don’t see it at all tbh. I see this guy being a good one.
