Jalen makes a point here. A lot of guys like to call themselves the best wrs but rely on schemes to get them not matched up against cb1s. Unlike Jalen and other great corners who don’t get to choose the weaker opponent and they go and line up against the best. That’s why I hate when wrs like to talk about being the best but gotta find ways to get off the best defenders to get any action.

I feel like a lot of people don’t understand that just because the WR catches the ball doesn’t mean it’s bad coverage at all. 2 prime examples: The Diggs TD and Darius Slay vs DK Metcalf last year. DK went off for sure but Slay was all over him all game, it was just a matter of DK being too physical and strong for Darius.
