He was nice at the time but when you listen to it now he just didn't have it all. He could've gotten better but he was so successful at what he was doing at the time that growth never occurred to him. For those who were around to witness the dipset era know just how nice Juelz was and how big he could’ve been if he had the work ethic. I can’t feel my face, what the game been missing, back like cooked crack and all the diplomat volume mixtapes were everything back then! He also was one of the first rappers to collab with Chris Brown. Boy was really on his way! Probably one of hip hop’s biggest disappointments.

Juelz is the Lloyd Banks of Dipset. Listening to Cam explain the situation sounds eerily similar to how 50 explains Lloyd. The crazy thing is that if either of them drops a project, there are lots of people that would gravitate towards it, as they both STILL have the skills. Of course, this isn't an apples to apples comparison - Lloyd actually drops music, but always avoided the light, and Cam is being liberal, by not bringing up Juelz drug use, which played a huge role.

@@yunqtule When Cam first said it, it was in defense of Juelz trying to say that Cam held him back - and it looked like he wasn't even trying to put Juelz out there like that. At the time EVERYONE thought Cam was hating or lying, but then when everyone saw Juelz missing teeth and looking aged by drug use, they knew that it was true. It's really sad, because lots of the "Back Like Cooked Crack" skits were making fun of coke heads and fiends, but the young guys of that generation didn't know that lean was the crack of this era.
