Hi friend. I love it .and your work .I too have a jaltest and I don't know how to use it so well.in my country I have a lot of daf trucks with gearbox problems and sometimes the ecu on the gearbox will not work ..so how can I remove the data from a nother ecu and paste it to another ecu but not a new one .

Which external power do you used to power the ecu that you copy? When you copy good runing ecu file, to keep as back up incase the ecu damage in future, can the ecu work after being copy? I am highly interested in the tool but can it work when the yearly update subscription is expired?

Hello! We answer your questions below: 1. The power supply tends to be direct from the diagnostic connector socket of vehicles. If it is not possible, then it should come from the batteries of the vehicle itself or from the values 12V/24V (depending on the vehicle) from external batteries. 2. Commonly, if the process is well done, the backup file is saved on PC. To recover the initial state of ECUs in case of problems, generally, it depends on each specific case. 3. The diagnostics function will continue if the license expires, the content will be frozen on the last version with rights, but access to the technical info will not be available.
