Hello everyone and welcome back to my channel. Today was a video that I was a little apprehensive about filming after the event season didn't end so well for Jam and I. Still, I was going to have to face my showjumping demons one day and a BE jump training competition seemed the perfect place to do it.

She is such a good girl is Jam I would say the second round in the 100 was the best but it is all a learning course I class it as a good day if you come away and you have learnt something and you three all together are a good comedic triple act the way you all bounce of each other so thank you for taking me along with you

I'm so glad someone was there shouting at you, that's just what you needed. Leave her mouth alone, push on with a bigger canter and stop always overthinking looking for a stride, the mare is more than capable. Love your channel and can't wait for the foals x

Thought the exact same, she pulled to get a stride instead of letting the jump come, and she could've had a bit more impulsive and power in the canter, I definetly agree, and having someone shout at you is always a help

Ohhh it all makes sense now. Geology and geography are definitely related! Squid fossils aren't really a common thing so if Pete found some I'm more than a bit impressed. Oh, belemnites aren't squids. They're cephalopods so that makes WAY more sense. (geologist / equestrian here)

First round (before the trainer trying to have you change too much) was the best in my opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️. I love Jam Jam! Well done Meg

I think the trainer was right, you can't have a backwards canter at 1m. It won't work you need impulsion, but she did a really good job

For 1metre you can't have a reluctant \ "sticky" canter, I do agree with what the trainer said about getting more canter but it's different for everyone☺

Peter father xmas North Pole stories POLE/ICE Ive commented before but Geraldine Gilmas my best friend in my eventing years still a good friend and still running Voltaire, i sent her your video, she started Voltaire i was with her when she made the logo and they were just three people the saddle maker the commercial and GeGe as i call her, now they are a huge company as you know based in Biarritz they really are the best saddles ive seen how they are made and the guy who makes them they are truly the best saddlers.. we evented for 10 yrs together , we were a whole gang of friends Karim Laghouag was in our team too he was only 18 then .. What a cool competition! Jam was awesome and the riding was lovely. You rode like a total superstar through the long one stride that last time and Jam just devoured it; very impressive! Peter's disdain for pineapple pizza hurt a little though. Why are all your friends such Canada haters? Yep, we did invent that (& tbh, I'm not a fan either.).
