@FJBANDHISFOLLOWERS False. The killer was his childhood friend and the other was his god son. The childhood friend told JMJ cousins to not go to the studio because something bad was going to happen. If a killer warns your family not to go to YOUR studio while asking them for bullets. And they don’t warn you about someone’s plan to kill you? That’s a family betrayal. The family should have told JMJ that someone’s planning to kill him.

When I met Jay back in the 90s at a show he was super kind, humble and spent about an hour signing posters and talking to fans like he was everybody's friend. That man had a good soul and showed a lot of love to others in the hip hop scene. As far as being involved with drugs, he was most likely hooking up weed for the studio session. JMJ was and always will be an icon.

With all due respect, I notice people calling JMJ a legend. And he likely was musically. But let’s not gloss over how his death was drug related, a deal gone bad. And that those drugs were intended to further harm the community who supported his entire career. I’m glad the killers were caught. But I’m also disappointed in our “leaders”.
@MichelleAlexandria-EM

there's zero proof it was drug deal gone bad ahole. And he did far more and had more of a positive impact on his community than some anonymous dbag like you. What have YOU done for your community? I bet not a GD thing! Even if it was a drug deal gone bad, one bad decision in a lifetime doesn't define you. I can't stand judgmental aholes like you.
