Dave, you and Jack Ruch have been my main coaches for a few years now. Both of you have taught me the blues in an almost complimentary way. Great that you mentioned him (Ruch rhymes with "douche", by the way!)

Great lesson thank you Dave. I am sorry for your loss. Jack Ruch and Dave together chatting and playing music together for TWO hours! That would be heaven. Dave, contact Jack and set it up NOW please.

Hey Dave, I dig Jack's stuff too but...this is the channel for me for learning. Just wish ol YT would remind me more often. Seems like evry inane distraction known to man comes up inmy suggestions- everything but Tao of Twang! Glad for this new one. Sorry to hear about your loss- there's nothing like family. Hope you all have a lot of loved ones near. It's totally appropriate to share it like you did- Thanks

Thanks for another great one, Dave- tough time of year to lose someone- God bless. Not usually one for commenting, but I figured it was time to let you know how much you have helped and influenced my playing over the past couple years or so. I really appreciate it- your teaching style is great and right on target for someone in his mid 50's trying to figure this stuff out. Thanks again for your terrific channel. I met Jack at a Tom Bukovac and Guthrie show in August- super nice guy. Pretty sure it's pronounced Roosh. He is a bit advanced for me, but still lots to learn from him. Thanks again, and happy holidays.

Thanks so much Darren. It’s great to heat from you and glad you have gotten good use from the channel. I really like Jack’s style and he seems like a good guy. Cool you met him and saw Guthrie as well! Also thanks for letting me know about the pronunciation of his name. I’ll have to make mention of that soon. Blessings and take it easy 🙏😎🎸

Sorry for your loss Dave. Taking time for yourself is sometimes very necessary. I’m pretty sure Ruch rhymes with swoosh. Thanks for the great lesson.
