It's quite obvious but a lot of MMA fans like to beat around the bush to mask their true feelings. Ever notice that Black or Muslim fighters seem to get a disproportional amount of hate for displaying confidence in themselves (i.e. Usman, Islam, Izzy, Bilal, Aljo, Khabib, etc.)? These fighters are often told that they need to be "humbled" or they're labelled "boring", "cringe", etc. despite finishing their opponents and being dominant. This is one of those times. Jamahal Hill dominated the same guy in Glover who was dominating Jiri for their entire fight outside of the last 30 seconds. Despite this fact, people are trying to dismiss Hill's win by saying that he beat an old guy while simultaneously calling Jiri a "warrior" for doing much less. Racism is still very prevalent today but people think that it's only applicable when it's explicitly conveyed

Jiri and Alex mop the floor with Hill. They are simply a level above the guy, not just in skill but also mentally those guys are way above Jamahal. Hill was lucky he got that title shot but I don't see him ever holding that title again.

Jamal is right about early stoppage...Jiri has come back from worse than that and won. He looked surprised when they stopped it. Let the championship fight play out! I have seen many situations where they let them go far too long before stopping it lol! This one was not long enough.

It was an early stoppage but jiri took it like a man. Most fighters would of cried and whined. Jiri actually agreed that he was knocked out for a second and that it was a learning experience. Talk about a great outlook.

It was an alright stoppage. Coulda let it go more, but right when the ref stop the fight, Jiri fell flat, and Alex actually got a full mount position. So for the Ref, it's all about would you like the crowd to see some more brutal pounding or would you save Jiri from losing some several brain cells. I think he went for the later.

Jiri is the kind of fighter that drags everyone into a war, setting his pace and pulling you into it, even if that’s not your style. Glover got dragged into Jiri’s pace and was winning the majority of it Jamahal also dragged Glover into his pace which was a technical methodical match instead of a wild war, and he just picked Glover apart and didn’t let him get his gameplan going. Stuffed the takedowns, got up or swept him when they did happen, battered him on the feet. Clean almost perfectly executed gameplan
