There’s are really great Asian restaurant right near the firehouse and also near the used clothing store. We loved it our last time there! Perhaps a video about getting there form the Orange line. I lived briefly on Huntington Ave near the pond when the E line went all the way to down as a street car. Nice video!

I’ve lived in JP for 20 years. That is not how you say Arboretum. It’s Are-bore-re-tum. Also turtle swamp is on Washington street not Centre Street.

potato potato - should of checked that one first... I always get it wrong. yes! turtle swamp is on washington... left that part out. google maps can help the lost! thanks for watching!

Jamaica Plain, where my mother grew up. Used to go there in the 70-80's to visit my grandparents. It was scary as all hell then. Obviously, they've cleaned it up in 50 years.

I’m really glad you enjoyed our neck of the woods. We are on the JP/Roxbury line & absolutely LOVE it here! For future reference, you can just call it “the Arb”…that’s what most of us locals do. I know that anyone from JP is cringing at your pronunciation lol. No worries tho. There’s soooo much more to explore here so if you’re ever in the area again I can recommend some cool spots!

Sorry. As a JPer this was awful. The mispronouncing of the AHBS was hideous. Don’t you research before you put this out there? I had to turn it off. Yeah, she looks adorable skipping around pointing out tree roots but come on.

@@taylorrice8612 thanks for your opinion and comment!! and honestly no - i don't do too much research i just got and have a great day and hope others get inspired to go out and have a great day somewhere they may have never been! not sure what ahbs is (no research lady here) but i def butchered the arboretum - potato potato thing - oops!

This is too good. seems like odds are stacked against me. I'm going to make videos my own style. but this is really good. it covers a lot of stores, interviews with owners.
