Jamaican moved from UK to Ghana to build a school, apartments and a restaurant
With time, I've come to realize that moving to Ghana from the West eventually favors those willing to roll up their sleeve and getting their hands dirty. In this video, I speak to Nana Kwame, a Jamaican, yes a Jamaican who moved to Ghana from UK, with the plan of cycling to Kinshasa but eventually settled in Ghana after coming to terms with how long and treacherous the journey would be.
With hard work and resilience, driving trotro (local minibuses) and owning several of them at a point, Nana Kwame with the help of his wife has managed to build Legassi Gardens apartments, a green holiday space in Accra, a school and a vegetarian restaurant.
This is a success story of humble beginnings. You will be inspired. My Name is Mickey....Keep Watching!!!

As the saying goes, "Don't judge a book by its cover." This is beyond ordinary. I don't think he is fully aware of his achievement. The things he is able to accomplish in Ghana, it would take a multimillionaire to get that in America.. The King who gave him the name was seeing beyond the physical. That's a great man! Women pay attention! Many times we overlooked good men by looking at the outside, and the now.

BEHOLD... now THIS is what a true Rastafari represent. The Honorable Marcus Garvey said, "Africa is for Africans, those at Home and those Abroad". Haile Selassie 1 said, "Africa awaits its new Creation AND its new Creators". Nana Kwame, I never got the chance to meet you in my Ghana troddings but you are the perfect example of what Rasta man and woman should be doing to UPLIFT Mama Africa. JAH BLESS the I and family, y'hear Lion! One Perfect LOVE I.

It would of been nice if they had mentioned he's A Rasta Man from Jamdown, Why ? Most people from the Caribbean and Jamaica didn't appreci-love the Rasta community even today in these times, The Rasta communities are only fulfilling their creed and Livity. Before when Rastafari spoke about Reparation and Repatriation they looked at them ss uneducated mad men anti social weed smoking bums. Now all praise for the Jamaican. Not Rasta Jamaican. We Laugh... The stone the builder refuse becomes the Head corner Stone. Rasta knows Africa's our Zion and Home...Fulfill RASTAFARI Will.🐂🇲🇾🇯🇲🇨🇬🇧🇫🇿🇼🇧🇷🇪🇹🇧🇮🇿🇦🇿🇦🇲🇼🌚🖤.

This is so inspiring and motivating for me. I recently visited Ghana for the first time and I felt at home right away. I’m originally from Jamaica but I felt connected to the land, the people and the culture. I only had 2 regrets: 1. That I never made the journey earlier in my life and 2. That I had to leave Ghana. However, I’m forever grateful that I made the trip when I did and I’m already planning my return for next year. Nana Kwame is absolutely correct when he said Africa is the land of the living. Jah guide and bless you Nana Kwame itinually in all your endeavours. What a great role model for us in the diaspora ❤️

He is so honest. He told his story with no exaggeration. When he was asked what people in diaspora should expect if they wanted to make the same move today, he said you should have a lot of money & forget your way of living with Kentucky fried chicken, Wendy's & the like. Simply put, sacrifice & live a simple life while developing stuff until you've achieved something. And keep on learning as you make mistakes.
