I am feeling your flava Ms. Debbie! 👌🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 And I'm loving the bell peppers and green onions/scallions; but I don't have bell peppers so my twist on this recipe will be some paprika and dried parsley flakes. Boom!💥

I love the fact that more Jamaican are coming onto this platform to share authentic Jamaican recipes with others and especially for us Jamaicans. Couple years ago I'd come on here looking for a new recipe idea and only find videos that show great dishes but the downfall is that half of the ingredients used is either not in Jamaica or way too expensive because they are imported. These videos are a change in the right direction, bless up 👍

Dear Ms Debbie, Regarding your lovely recipes, specifically those involving goats' heads. Do you strip the head of the meat, or does your Butcher do this for you? If you do it, it would be great if you would make a video on how to strip the meat and show which pieces to use and which to discard. Love your presentation, recipes and your zest for life. Rock on!

Irish potatoes are typically in the “white potato” group characterized by light tan to cream colored skin, and a white flesh that has a waxy texture due to moderate to low amounts of starch. They are called Irish potatoes for the simple reason that they were the main type grown in Ireland in the early 1800s, and are forever associated with The Great Irish Famine, one of the worst agricultural, social, and cultural disasters of the time. When the Irish people came to Jamaica, they along with other enslaved Jamaicans planted these potatoes and the name got stuck till this day.

I don't understand what is wrong with some of the people or little kiss my ass kids that has nothing to do. Why the disrespect about the lady talking too much everyone do they thing different she have to talk an demonstrate. If she don't talk now then still yet people is still gonna find some shot to say. My God so sick of some people's behavior.

Respect to you. I was debating whether to respond to the persons comment but decided they’re not worth it. All of us that regularly watch this channel enjoy Debbie Debs personality as much as her cooking, right. (I’m guessing you must feel this way too), it’s a big part of the reason we watch. I do wish that if people don’t like it, they could just move on and watch something else without leaving a stain on everyone’s positive experience. I guess some people are just too full of lack of appreciation, negativity, and hate…
