Firstly, Daindra... really like your vibes 👍🏽. Secondly, I've been listening to Gospel Dancehall/Reggae for over 25 years now. At one point, I was a gospel disc jockey for a while. I've heard all kinds of metaphors, similes, puns etc. I am for being out-the-box, however, this song/performance (in my opinion) is out of place. "Kiss out" within the Jamaican context has always been used in a sexual or derogatory manner. Someone might say that e.g. artists have used "guns" or "shoot" in reference to the Bible. But there is context for it. The Bible itself describes the Scripture as a sword. Also, the Bible speaks of spiritual warfare. So, you can understand the usage within that context. I'm not sure if there's any biblical backing for the context of "kiss out". Thirdly, as a believer when you are disrespected, it is our response that displays whether we are truly walking in the Spirit with Christ. Of course, a one answer can't be given for all situations, but the Bible does speak about not being easily offended (1 Cor. 13:5, Proverbs 12:16, Proverbs 19: 11). Jesus also speaks about turning the other cheek (Matt. 5:38-48). I believe that Marion Hall loves God and wants to serve Jesus. The problem since she came over fully has been her going into doing public ministry almost immediately. Again the Bible warns about doing this (1 Tim. 3:6). This is not a fight down of Marion Hall. I want the best for her.

I actually love this song. There are different categories of gospel and when Lt Stitchie does the same thing it's ok. Leave the lady alone. Also, when Be Be and Ce Ce was singing gospel songs without referring to God, we were singing to it. Those songs used to play in the club.
