Another great report of a sound set up. To be sure, this is as interesting as the when the party start. One thing. At the start you were interviewing one man. To avoid wind noise next time, use a low cut filter on your microphone it is also called a high pass filter and will reduce the sound of low frequencies that wind gives and alternatively, you can do post production editing with an equalizer to take out the unwanted noise. You can also do demo recordings with your back against the wind to shield the mic then listen in playback to check how much sound you have. Finally, check out cardioid microphones which are good for outside recording. Truth be told, if you invest in good equipment, you are going to reap the benefits in time.. You have my vote! 🙏🏽
