This video is actually my first full attempt at writing COMEDY. I hope the story made you smile! 😊 The truth is - 90% of my life in Jamaica is being stuck at my computer creating videos. I work from 5 am to 9 pm every day, taking a few breaks from video production to reply to Airbnb guests and teaching (both at my computer again). About 5% of my life is time with family and the other 5% is "outside of studio", but even then - it's all about filming for the project. That's exactly why the video is called "My life in Jamaica is nothing what people think it is".

When you were speaking about how you cut and create the music for your videos really reminded me of my media classes in collage. As a communication major, we are taught that every detail, however small, is critical in making a good video. Soundscapes, foleys, BG audio tracks etc is just as important as your script. It was almost as if I was in a lecture! Loved everything about this video.

The phrase if you don't succeed at first try try again until you do. So very true in your case. As a teacher you had the passion to impart knowledge, to inform. The passion, for film making, for story telling to show aspects of jamaica not told or neglected with humour. This I believe caught the imagination of the viewers all over the world struck indoors unable to travel. Congrats 👏

🇯🇲 Thanks Irene, for not being a lecturer but a teacher. I've seen all your vids & it's evident you've worked hard, but today I " got it ". The scenic beauty, appropriately injected music & your animated delivery, down-play the hours of diligence to make your postings easy on the eyes. Great respect for the pathological love & continued belief in our Garden(🇯🇲), when many nay-sayers have voted to arrest their feet for their own personal security. I've had my detractors, for me complimenting you, a "foreigner" for a job well done. What's my alternative? Jamaica, is not unlike a garden of beautiful red🌹roses, over time, impregnated with invasive torns. Should I not visit for the evident beauty that lies within or for the perceived injury that might or might not awaits me?

Thank you so much! I'm so happy you're enjoying the content :))) As for studies - you know, I was always around B+ student, since I could never fit the format enough to get an "A" 😂😂😂. I was often arguing with school principal over "limits on creativity" and did things opposite to what was required by the curriculum. I was lucky to have some amazing teachers and they fully supported me, but the examiners were not impressed 😂.
