I realize JJ probably wouldn't be able to resist a job opportunity coaching The Lakers. But he is in a no win scenario if he takes the job unless Bron is moving on. JJ needs a rebuild club with NO EXPECTATIONS to avoid being blamed. I doubt Pop has an opening in San Antonio assist coaching, but that would be the type gig JJ Reddick would thrive learning the ropes as an assistant on a rebuild to then not look clueless as a head coach.

Lakers been making mistakes under Jeanie Buss since Phil Jackson shadow GM ... Phil Jackson was the most overrated coach of all time we can easily see now. Ruined The Bulls then The Lakers. Probably more. Something off about his influence. Pat Riley and Jerry West LEFT THE LAKERS. Magic Johnson was being pushed out in the Luke Walton fiasco. This is Kurt Rambis and Phil Jackson screwing up The Lakers. JJ wants his payday I get it, but he's starting to come across as a needy teenager who gets groomed to give the pastor a BJ to get the college scholarship.

I am 💯 sure based on what I am seeing & hearing from Mazulla in post -game interview that he is beholden to analytics. Celtics offense is mostly drive & kick out to 3 pt line or attacking the rim. There is no in between. They do not have great mid range players on the team. Dallas's problem beyond their offense due to their role players not looking confident are ball containment & failure to do the " dirty work" ( rebounds, box out, block shots, diving for lose ball etc.) consistently

Considering new owner of the Mavericks is a true monster, it will be sweet if Celtics can go for the jugular on Mavs home court. And get more attention on Mavs' corruption in front office. RICO could take the team and put it up for auction. Would rather see Mavs owned by a player group. Maybe even present players. Like an NBA Players Union team to be a check and balance on corrupt owners, also vulnerable to RICO acquisition.

Ppl scared to make predictions smh. I love em bc it’s a test of how much you know ball basically. N receipts don’t scare me bc #1 no1s always right n #2 a good prediction is determined by solid logic not the correct result - did you understand the dynamics at play, did you have a good read on the personnel involved, did you understand the schematic options available to the coaching staff based on that personnel etc…
@taylor72645 ай бұрын
That being said I don’t respect 99% of the Dallas picks bc #1 like jj said many were based on previous iterations of the Celtics despite adding two big pieces n js getting better - which should’ve been a given. The rest simplified the series to Luka v tatum - or some combination of these two points Lazy takes. Basically it was Celtics hate n Luka love. No real basketball analysis
@IGI_Media5 ай бұрын
No one is talking about the fact that injures have had very little impact on this series. Ex: As opposed to Warriors losing 2 of their stars etc Almost every series has some devastating injury that is the X factor. KP's injury hasn't crippled the Celts (pun intended) I haven't heard what, if any, injury Luka has, but it's his imaginary friends on the bench ghosting him that has cost the Mavs. so the injury isn't the cause there./
@reneewilliams57775 ай бұрын
Lol Luka has been injured since the beginning of the playoffs! What are you talking about? He was physically unable to make his step back 3 until the Minnesota series due to a knee injury. That's besides the chest contusion that he's getting pain injections for before the last two games. I think if he was healthy he'd be putting up better numbers, and doing much better on defense . I agree that the role players haven't shown up for him but he could be putting up better numbers and actually staying in front of some players on the other end.

@semi65445 ай бұрын
This Boston celtics team isn't an All-Time team because they played in a year with historic bad injury luck especially in the East and especially in the playoffs. Remember the Kings were the #3 seed in the West last year. People didn't believe in them because the Kings had the best injury luck in the West. Their record was related to the circumstances of the season. Boston was the best team in the East and they would have been the best if everyone was healthy but there would be no historic point differentials and playoff record. Boston is great but not historically great.

it is like david against goliath.. and it is not fair how negative people are against luka (and kyrie) now.. just see the whole perspective.. they are doing the impossible against the celtics.. especially luka, since he is hurt this whole last stage of the season... so getting patched up each night just to be able to play further... people are really so quick to judge these players.. totally without realistic expectations.. mavs have a much much harder mountain to climb than celtics as a whole team (and best players individually too)... this is a group game, especially in the finals the teams overall strength wins over the overall weaker team... ok, maybe individuals can win a game or two, which luka for sure would if he was totally healthy.. but he can't win 4, just with kyrie.. and to rip him apart now on his defense and complaining.. is just ridiculous and vengeful... Mavs chin up! .. you did great... just met the better team who has been building towards this for years..and also swallowed their share of scrutiny..

Dude: Come out of the closet. White nationalist Zionism is Pride Month confession. Nothing wrong with being a rainbow bottom or top, but Luka is getting special refs treatment and Kyrie was hired to blame the loss on him. All true NBA fans know the formula of corrupt owners and Robert Kraft's buddies like soon fired NBA commissioner Adam Silver. You don't partner with gambling operations unless you're fixing games. RICO coming.
