Jamal is just one of the best human groove machine ever. Even more than that : he has such a classy style in his gestures when hitting these cymbals... just awsome. Maceo had great drummers but Jamal should be the One.

@@closedsessionrecordingstud5127 just too bad there are so very few videos of Jamal with Maceo. Some of them have even completely dissapeared from youtube since 2005. I feel p**d not to have downloaded them at the time. They could play uptempo, ballads, the groove of Jamal was just astonishing on every single song without a single misstake. I've seen them quite a lot when they were touring in france and even had a drink with him and Martha in Paris. Awsome souvenir because we just saw them that night in Paris and after the show, we were wondering where could we eat something and after 1/2 hour sitting in the place, who does come in the restaurent sitting just next to us ? Jamal and Martha...
