Hi Jaman. Love the vlog. I always learn watching your play and commentary. I really liked your explanation of the perils out-of-position cold calling 3-bets and how you exploited that preflop by 5-betting over the smaller stack shove with QQ. Question: seemed to me on that specific flop with QQ, when you flop top set, why not go for max exploitation knowing that the villan's range is capped (and leans heavily towards pocket pairs)? Why not check the flop instead of betting 150 there? With such a terrible villian, no need to balance . . . give the villan a chance to lead bluff the turn, or maybe even hit their lower set and win their stack?

Sorry but I disagree with the folks who say call with the 8s. Jaman’s explanation is spot on. First, if you hit an 8 for trips you are probably dead to a J or 6, so those two outs are no good. With 8 outs for the open ended straight the price is not right to continue, as Jaman said. The $150 sizing was very good to try and draw in action as he had the odds in his favor. At least, I think that’s right…

I think the biggest difference between your vlogging 'voice' and the voiceover is the audio quality, perhaps also the volume difference. Reading something aloud also changes most people's voices. My grandfather's voice really changes alot when he reads something vs normal speaking.

The K/10 semi bluff- it the player type overfolds to aggression wouldn’t you slow down if he calls the flop because his continuing range would be so strong? You said you had plans to barrel.
