Thanks for watching - these are smaller, more like 1:16 scale that 1:12, but they are still great-looking, although, unlike the Pro-Boat Volere 22, they are not a scale model of an existing full-size vessel.

Thank you for the vid, mate. Just bought one for the kids birthday. I wonder if you can tell how long does the boat run with one set of batteries? On the box it says "running time 5-10 minutes" which would be a bit a pain even if you had two sets of rechargeable batteries...thanks for an answer from your side and your tipps! regards from Hamburg.

I was getting fifteen or twenty minutes from one set of cheap supermarket alkalines, though admittedly we weren´t running it continuously but were taking turns "berthing" the boat and so perhaps that´s over-optimistic...

looks great , i like the detail. as for the speed , its faster than i thought it be. a little bit faster and she would fully plane out. i figured the water might leak in through the stuffing tubes more than the hatch. , but she stays dry. nice. a 2.4 ghz radio would be nice just to get rid of the antenna on the bot and keep the scale look. lol! also like the fact the hatch locks look like boat fittings and not screws or clips. B>)

Cool little boat, your right why don't proper RC boats have watertight hatches?!! wish my boat did and yes reverse would be very handy. This thing turns like a Tank ha ha. Great scale looks (-;

I wish the hobby-grade guys would learn from the toy people when it comes to reaiistic details. A New Bright car body is a work of art compared to, say, an HPI Blitz bodyshell.

Hello, Hugo; I´m afraid that it wouldn´t be a good idea to play with this or any other toy-grade rc boat in salt water. If you do, it´s best to clean the boat immediately afterwards in fresh water, paying particular attention to the propellor shaft housings, as salt water will promote rapid corrosion here, causing the shaft to seize. After cleaning you should oil the shafts as well. It´s best to turn each propellor manually the next time you run the boat to ensure that they´re turning freely, as a seized shaft would burn out your boat´s electronics in milliseconds!

So often you look at a toy-grade rc product and find little design touches which hobby-grade rc companies don´t consider. At least one hobby manufacturer has, for example, now begun to give us a battery box on the underside so the body can stay on during battery swaps,and we no longer have to buy a New Brite car just for the body. They´re listening and responding...s l o w l y.
